Exposure to heat, vibration and contamination makes belts and hoses wear out faster than any other components in your car. That's why regular inspections are so important. Here are the belt and hose types in your car, along with their applications. While some accessories in your car are electrically powered by the charging system, others use the engine itself as their power source.
In order to meet Federal Exhaust Emission and Fuel Economy regulations, today's vehicles are equipped with highly sophisticated electronic engine control systems. These systems do not require periodic adjustments. The only services required on a scheduled basis are spark plug and filter replacement.
The brake system is actually composed of two kinds of systems---Hydraulics and Friction Materials. Here's what happens within these systems between the time your foot hits the brake pedal and your car stops. When pressure is applied to the brake pedal, the master cylinder creates hydraulic pressure which pushes brake fluid to the wheel brakes.
Heat is a byproduct of the engine's combustion process. The heat is absorbed by the coolant in your car's radiator. The coolant is then circulated through the heater core before returning to the radiator. The heating system also includes a series of air ducts, a blower motor and fan, and temperature and duct controls, which selct the desired temperature and direct the flow of warm air.
Check the owner's manual to see if your driving habits are considered to be "severe service." This type of driving requires more frequent oil changes, warns the Car Care Council. Have the oil changed accordingly, usually every 3-5,000 miles. For less wear and tear on the engine, drivers in cold climes (sub-zero driving temperatures) should drop their oil weight from 10-W30 to 5-W30.

I went in because my car inspection was about to expire that day and I was well into late afternoon to make it to my usual place. I quickly googled and led me to this location, a 6 minute drive from Ridgehill Mall. We call before and the man on the phone didn't seem too warm and just warned that if we don't arrive before 4:30, he cannot do it. Fair, since they close at 5 pm, even though an inspection for a 2 year old car takes no more than 10 minutes. We arrive and there are two guys, one older sitting at a desk and a younger one opening the gates to let us in. The younger guys warms

The overall negative ratings are really unfair to this place. Stumbled upon it after a bad experience with a local tire chain. They did a great job installing a set of tires for my Jeep Wrangler, at a price quite a bit lower than quoted else where. Owner has a sense of humor/wit--the kind that may come a bit standoffish to some initially. But ultimately, they got the job done at a very reasonable price. Gentleman who worked on my Jeep(Victor?) doesn't talk much--but a quick conversation demonstrates that he knows his stuff. In this day and age, ppl don't rely on those next to them(friends

Criminal! Absolute rig off artists. I came in for an inspection and one headlight. These people force me to change both bulbs, literally refuse to do the job I ask them to do and then charge me $75 for it.

Dont let the 5 star reviews fool you. This place is a complete rip off and will try to get every penny out of you.

Just the fact that this place is so empty on a Friday should be a major red flag.

Please save your money and go somewhere else.

Called today about a nearly flat front tire that we had recently "topped off"
,so clearly there was a problem. The guys could not have been nicer or more accommodating and told me to bring it right down on a Saturday morning before the holidays. A quick analysis revealed road salt corrosion along the aluminum rim which was professionally cleaned sealed and properly reinflated. All work was carefully explaned in detail and the price was fair/reasonable. They offer other repair services as well.
Would absolutely use them again !
