I'm not sure why this restaurant has these high ratings. We ate there last night (Saturday) and the food and service were both lacking. I ordered an Old Fashioned and what I received was nothing even close. I ordered the lobster bisque and received the wild rice & mushroom soup. While it was the wrong soup, I ate it anyway. It was served barely warm. My main course was a chicken & penne pasta dish. The chicken was overcooked and very dried out and the sauce was not good enough not save the dish. Dined here on a Thursday night which was pretty slow. There were only 3 other tables occupied. Despite the small crowd, service was incredibly slow. The food was less than warm and lacked flavor. Def not worth it. For this price point either go somewhere cheaper and get better food or go to a comparable restaurant where you'll actually get your money's worth.

My husband always wanted to try this fine dining restaurant and we had a good reason to celebrate our anniversary!
We enjoyed our waiter, who made the entire experience enjoyable. He is very personable and attentive.
Calamari appetizer is a huge platter. Wished I knew to ask for a small plate. We couldn't finish it. I thought the price $15 reflected the quality, but it was the size!!! Omgoodness... don't order this appetizer unless you are hungry!!

My husband took me here 5 years ago for my birthday and we have been comimg back since. We don't get to come all too often but always look forward to it and enjoy ourselves. The food is top notch as well as the service and the ambiance is perfect especially for a date or night out. Good selection of spirits and wine. Side note: I eat glutem free and they had plenty of choices and made accomodations as they could for me.

This was my first visit to Amerigo's Grille, but it won't be my last. I love the location, abundant parking external appearance, internal decor, atmosphere, external views, top-notch highly professional service, and.... what I am forgetting?... oh yes, the food! Absolutely incredible, perfectly made, super tasty food. Yes, it's pricy and advance reservations are a good idea, but what else would one expect from a restaurant of this class.

Came here last Friday. Without a doubt, our server was 5 star quality. He was very friendly and did a great job with recommendations. I bumped the rating up specifically because of him. That good!
The food was good, but I am not sure if it's worth the price tag it comes with. I really enjoyed my evening and it was good to get out. 4/5.

Normally enjoy their happy hour. The drinks are great and the bar bites are tasty. Ordered from the HH menu and bartender asked if we wanted rye or bourbon and we responded rye. Received bill and $7 HH drinks were $17.75 each! Because we had chosen rye. Felt a bit like bait-and-switch.
We made a point to say she should have mentioned the upcharge--bartender apologized. We asked to speak to manager and reiterated that bartender should tell patrons. - 1. star- mostly seafood. Pasta has seafood on it too. No longer should say Italian .

Its just ok the prices are quite high for what you get. Was it worth? No I get just as good a meal at other restaurants for 1/2 the price. Better stick to water because drinks prices will empty your wallet they are just way out of line nothing special.
Now for the best part I had the short rib dinner and it came out on the plate one big rib bone , piece of meat laying next to the bone it's not even attached to the bone and a little drizzle of sauce. At the prices on the menu, I expected perfection. They do several things excellently. The Ceasar salad was, my husband's Cowboy ribeye was the best I've ever tasted. The service was top-notch.
What stopped me from giving them a 5-star review was some little disappointments. My pasta Nina (the chicken dish) was good but not great, we were promised bread but halfway through the salad no bread until we asked. When it came we expected hot, irresistible Italian bread but it was room temp and just ok, although the dipping sauce was great. We ordered coffee. It was hot and full-bodied. But
