My name is Rudy Jacob Myer and I have been coming to Aid Animal Hospital all my life since I was 3 weeks old. I came from a puppy mill and have had lots of health problems. I am now 10 1/2 and every time my Mommy brings me to see all my friends I get so excited. They know I am here even before I get in the door.

My experience with Aid Hospital was less than satisfactory. To start, they misdiagnosed my cat. Despite all signs pointing to an upper airway obstruction, we were given a laxative and new food, neither of which she was able to ingest. Upon returning because our situation had worsened significantly, we were then passed on to another vet and given another misdiagnosis of bowel issues, which I had to find myself. No referral, no help whatsoever. My cat died of this obstruction that they failed to spot, nor did they listen to what we were telling them. No one ever called to check on her, which would

Five stars! Dr. Evans is a wonderful vet! My dog has some heath complications and she instantly spotted the problem and he's on his road to getting better. When I have questions, she calls right back and it's clear she truly cares for your pets and is passionate about her career. The front-desk staff are caring and very helpful. The environment is very calm and friendly. Great place!

My 1st visit here, from a gleaming referral, was bittersweet: they were wonderful, but my dog was diagnosed with cancer. They also helped me say goodbye to my beloved companion. I was devastated, but the whole staff was so kind and compassionate!!! I even received a sympathy card from them. As of yesterday, I have a new Golden Retriever puppy and we will be seeing Dr Rowe to make sure he is healthy in a few days. Gratitude & Blessings! Rich Fine

I just moved to the area and my baby hasn't been her best. I called Aid Animal Hospital and they were able to give me an appointment the next day.
The hospital is new and very clean. Not sure how they do it, but they manage to keep this place smelling fresh without being overly clean or sanitized. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the wait wasn't very long at all.
The staff was friendly and the vet was extremely nice and reassuring. I didn't have a need to get any services done (luckily my baby was fine, it was mainly just a visual exam). This will definitely be

I've visited around 10 different vets before deciding on this place. What I found is that the people here seemed to be the warmest towards my dog, (meaning they seem to enjoy their job and interacting with animals) and seemed completely happy to answer any questions I had rather than rush me out the door to get the next patient.

Dr. Rowe is a fantastic vet! Our little dog, Spankie, is 19 years old, and has had some special circumstances because of his age.
Dr. Rowe patiently and thoughtfully explains all your options for care and treatment and you can feel absolutely comfortable asking any questions. He is an excellent listener and he will take the time you need to allow you to make the decisions which will truly feel good to you in maintaining the health and longevity of your pet.
Perhaps most importantly, Dr. Rowe truly enjoys the animals he tends to. He treats them with kindness, care and respect.

Awesome veterinarian. I've been taking my dog Samson to Aid since the day I adopted him.
When we first took him to meet Dr. Rowe he was recovering from heart worms, having heart problems and in the early stages of kidney failure. He was also over 15 pounds underweight. He was a happy dog, but very sick. But amazingly 41/2 years later he's still going strong thanks to the excellent medical care and advice of the Doctor and staff at Aid Animal Hospital. We appreciate everything you've done for him and most importantly, so does Samson. Thank you.
Take your pets there, you'll

I've been here way too many times during the past month! My dog took a weird turn an tore a ligament in his knee. Dr. Rowe explored different options and made sure there would be minimal complications before deciding surgery would be the best option. He even contacted me on a Friday evening after taking the time to fully explain his situation.
The surgery was successful and so was his follow up visit. He is also getting acupuncture to help with the healing process.
The staff is all friendly and knowledgable as well! This is the fourth vet we've worked with since moving here that many

Took my dog for her first vet appointment at Aid Animal Hospital and the previous reviews were spot on. It's a small clinic right on Wornall Rd in Waldo, not much to look but that really doesn't matter to me. Upon arrival had to wait a few minutes to get checked in but that was because the front desk staff was making sure one of their customers fully understood the discharge instructions for their animal. They even have a sign asking for patience because you will receive the exact same attention, which I did when I was checking in and out. Very reasonably priced, they did not charge
