Born in Barnes KS 1946.grew up on family farm spent many years around sale barns and Auctions. Successful Barber/Hairstylist in Topeka for 10 years, entered styling competitions, competed internationally, representing the USA, one of 6 selected in the United States for this honor; Did styling shows for Redken Hair products around the US.
Darrell remains active in Auctioneering, specializing in Real Estate Auctions as well as Heavy Equipment Consignment Sales, Farm Sales, Fleet Sales, and Business Liquidation Sales. Mike began working with AUCTIONS BY: SIMNITT BROTHERS, INC. in 1996 initially helping with mailings and cashiering at the auctions.

Services
Our Auction Marketing Method is a process of building excitement about the sale up to the auction day. We order a preliminary title report once an auction sale contract is signed so we know if there are any problems to clear the title before the auction sale. Open Houses are held the two Sundays prior to auction day by unlicensed people who work as hosts or hostesses.
A commission as specified in auction terms will be paid by the seller to any licensed Kansas Real Estate Broker whose prospect is the high bidder and pays for and settles in full for the property they are registered on. The commission will be paid by the seller only upon final closing and when the property has been settled in full.
