Enjoy all our worried free pedicures with our 100% sanitary spa chair that uses single disposable Air Jet Liners. We offer disposal files, buffers, pumice stone for each customer. This treatment consists of soaking your feet in the whirl pool pedicure tub, followed by filling, shapping, cleaning, exfoliating your legs & feet, and a relaxing massage with hot towels & polish of your choice.
I went to Persimmon for the 2d time last week and really loved my experience. I usually don't really like my nails, and yet both times I was very pleased with the result using gel. My nails looked great, lasted a long time, and each time the staff paid attention, and were really gracious. Decor is soothing and uplifting and beverages go beyond water.

My friend and I made appointments for gel manis. The nail tech working on my nails was kind however ill trained. I ended up fixing and filing my own nails, that bad. My friends nail tech did a better job however provided poor customer service. While we were there a few regulars came in and were greeted with much better customer service. I really hoped for a better experience and I imagine as a regular you have that experience.

Felt like an overpriced paint job. The lady I had, Jenni, didn't know how to properly take off cuticles, skipped the basics like cleaning under the nails, and didn't know how to take off acrylics. I now have dips in my nails. Btw, they soak nails (which is both cold and terrible for your skin--not to mention just lazy). I got a mani/pedi. They also charged $10 to take off acrylics. I've never been charged an add-on fee while paying for a full service. The only positive is the tech could properly apply nail color. I definitely won't be coming back.

A family member recommended this place and I was excited because her nails always look good and she’s picky like me. I got the dip with tips. My nails are uneven, lumpy and look like they have dips in them. The nail tech Holly was very rude and basically put me out because I questioned my nails.

Made an appointment same day on a whim. It was well worth it and wish I had found this place sooner! They have very reasonable prices and are quick, efficient, with excellent final products. I got a glitter ombre for New Years. I loved the service, the way my nails looked, and how sweet the nail tech was. This was easily the fastest I've ever seen someone crank out an ombre and couldn't be happier with my nails.

I went to get a single acrylic nail refilled because it had broken, the design was two simple lines at the tip of the nail, nothing crazy. after asking me to pick out the colors to replicate the original design (which i had gotten done at the same salon), she just decides its way too complex of a design and tells me that she's just going to do a glittery-nail instead. did not match with the rest of my nails whatsoever and while she's supposed to be doing her job, decides to sit with another patron getting her nails done and converse with her instead, totally ignoring me. good thing she gave it

I live in NYC and went to DC for a wedding that I needed to get my nails done for. I got an SNS manicure and a regular pedicure. I had such an amazing experience while here! It was a relaxing environment and the tech who helped me was amazing. Three weeks later, after playing hockey, working out daily (with weights), and working in a hospital, my nails still look incredible! If I lived in DC, this would 100% be my go to spot

Shortly after landing in DC for vacation from Tx I broke one of my dip nails pretty bad. I went into panic mode researching to find a good place to get my nails redone. 4pm on a Friday and they didn’t hesitate getting me in. All were friendly and I’ve never had such a great set of dipped nails, seriously. None of them seemed to be rushing their clients and they all seemed to be talking to their regulars like old friends. Seems like a great place to go if I lived here.

Nice customer service. Hardly anyone was in there when we went so we walked in and we're were seated for our mani-pedis. They do charge for gel removal even though we were already getting pedicures which was weird but I'm not from here so I don't know if that was normal. The sorry needed a little cleaning. There was some crumbs and dirt in apparent places and the plexiglass separators were dirty. Other than that it was nice. INCREDIBLE massage (deluxe was worth it).

Today was my first day here. I am quite exigent when it comes to my nails so I did a little bit research before deciding where to go. I didn't LOVE my nails. They aren't bad but still it is not THE perfect manicure I was expecting.

When I arrived, it became clear that they did not have that service so we decided on an alternative. The nail tech was apparently irritated by my wanting what they didn’t have and my experience went downhill from there. The tech suggested nail tips because

Very pleased with my nails! Helen was my nail tech and she did a great job! Their dip power selection is the largest I've seen and I love the complimentary mimosa (drinks)! Parking is a hassle but that's to be expected in the city. Their prices are a little more steep then I'd like to pay but it's worth it. Thanks, Helen!

This is a long overdue review for my favorite nail salon in the DMV, hands down. (And I am extremely picky!) I've been coming here for over 2 years and I bring all of my friends/family now as well. They take great precautions surrounding Covid - disposable liners, screens between you and the nail tech, mandatory hand washing, masks, etc.
The owners DeeDee and Leo are the sweetest, most hardworking couple and their entire staff is amazing. I've gotten gel, dip, acrylic, and regular manicure/pedicures here and I love the results every time. Their business has faced so many unfair hardships

Hands down, the best nail salon in DMV! Not only because of their beautiful work but their amazing customer service. Everytime I come here, the owners are so kind and my nails come out beautiful.
I got my nails done for my wedding a couple of weeks ago and I managed to break my nail the NIGHT before my wedding, which was a Sunday. The nail salon is closed on Sundays but my fiancé contacted Mrs. Dee Dee early on our wedding day and she met me at the nail salon at 8 am to fix my nail!! lol that was the kindest thing ever and she saved my wedding day!

I made a last minute appointment, and I was taken care of right away. The man who did my acrylic nails was amazing, from the conversation to his work. He knew that I don’t get my nails done often, so he took time to help me pick out colors and didn’t rush even when the store had closed. He gave me extra at home care for my terrible cuticles, and decided last minute to add the gem on my finger. I didn’t pick it out, but he told me that he wanted me to feel like a princess for my birthday coming up. Wow, I’ve never had such a great interaction with a nail tech! Thank you for making me feel

I am so happy that I came across persimmon nail spa! It's such a warm and friendly environment and very sanitary, which was extremely important to me during this time. The technicians sanitize everything after every guest and the safety precautions are not only posted, but also followed. My lovely technician also gave me a cute cloth mask which I thought was a sweet touch. Most importantly, I loved how my nails turned out and how stylish and chic they are. I would definitely recommend you swing by and check this salon out. Treat yourself, you deserve it!

Yet another lame DC nail salon with poor quality work and poor customer service. I walk in and no one greets me, so I just yell out what I need and sign-in. I choose a color and am assigned a seat and a tech. My regular manicure took 15 minutes, not including drying time. This place still soaks your nails, which is not good for them, and the water was freezing. My tech did not know how to handle a neon color, so she definitely should never be allowed near nails again. Neons take some time to understand. The differing opacities on each nail and poor application means I left miserable and unhappy

This was my second time here. The first time was amazing and my gel manicure lasted 3 weeks. Second time not so much. Got my gel manicure on a Wednesday afternoon as of Friday morning all but two nails are completely gone. Gel is supposed to last minimum 2 weeks without chipping and this has never happened to me anywhere else. Worst part is this happened right as I’m leaving town for a wedding. Don’t trust this place!
