NewBo Counseling was founded by Jean Underwood to provide mental health counseling and therapy services to individuals in the Cedar Rapids and Corridor area. Care is provided for individuals of all ages from young adult to the elderly. Jean Underwood, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, has over 25 years of psychiatric nursing and counseling experience in both out-patient and in-patient care settings.
She is ANCC Board Certified as a family psychiatric mental health Nurse Practioner. Jean is a graduate of Columbia University School of Nursing (BSN, MSN) and Rutgers University School of Nursing (NP).
