I love coming here once a month to keep my skin clean and to relax to take off the stress of my busy work life. Every technician i have had is so sweet. It was my first time coming here for a massage—actually my first massage in Philly all together—and it was hands down the best massage I’ve ever gotten. My boyfriend said the same thing. He got the expert custom massage and I did Swedish and we both added a foot massage onto each of ours. I kid you not, I walked out of there feeling like I was walking on a cloud. Linh was incredible and worked her magic, highly recommend! This spa is in heart of center city so it’s super easy to get to, and it’s also incredibly clean and tranquil upon entering. Great massage experience with Frances. However, I was disappointed with management/administrative sincerity and accuracy. I booked a 90-min massage but was only in the room for 75-min. The owner adjusted the time on my bill which I appreciated. When I left, I noticed the charge still didn’t match up with their prices online, so I called out the discrepancy. He said “they recently raised prices to $105 for 60-min” (plus the $15 for extra 15 mins), which didn’t add up because that price still would be less than what I was charged total, even accounting for sales tax. My massage with Pauline was awesome! I've been working nonstop for the past several months, including nights, evenings, and weekends, and I finally found some time after work to treat myself to a massage. Pauline uses a "soft tissue melting" technique, which is a form of deep tissue massage, but focusing on trigger points. Val was amazing, as were the front desk staff. I was lucky enough to land a same-day appointment! When I called they talked with me about the benefits of different service types which was helpful in deciding what was best for me. As a woman, I had never had a massage from a male therapist and it was a concern, but Val was very informative, very professional and I actually prefer it because the pressure of the massage was perfect. I wish I lived in the area to visit regularly but if you're ever in Philly looking to relax and recharge, Skincare Lounge is a must!

I called last minute for massages and they were so accommodating!! The massage therapist I had “Tony” he was INCREDIBLE! hands down best massage I’ve ever had and I’ve been to a lot. Tony unlike a lot of massage therapists was consistent with his pressure from the beginning of the massage to the end. I have chronic back and shoulder pain to where I get headaches. He used amazing techniques no ones used before to get all my specific knots out. I got a deep tissue and I for the first time felt looser vs just relaxed. Tony was amazing and really listened to what I wanted. Highly recommend

I really do love this salon. The owner, Anthony, is hysterical and always has me cracking up, which puts me slightly at ease because I visit to receive Brazilian waxes.
I've had many waxes in my lifetime. By far Skincare Lounge consistently offers the fastest and most painless experience.
I've never had any spa services performed here so I can only offer my opinion on the hair removal service.

Lisa was so amazing! She was really great about what areas I wanted to focus on and how much pressure I was good with. I was having shoulder pain and the next day later I felt soooooo much better. Definitely will be going back. The facility has a nice atmosphere and I like how the rooms are private! The facials by Pauline are also amazing. Will definitely be going back!

Linh is the best if you want a nice quiet deep massage! Pauline is great if you prefer to chat!Very consistent place. Mimosas with your visit (and if they don't offer automatically, just ask!). You can find deals on Groupon or their website & they will do their best to accommodate your schedule. Self care is the best care.

I liked the service at the spa and people were super nice but i hate the covid fee they hit you afterward because that is shady. It should be posted somewhere and not just slapped on at the end. I dont know what extra they do that is different from their previous ways but they should explain why they are charging customer "covid fee". Not sure if i will be returning to this place or searching eleswhere. No other spa does this and it was honestly surprising to see the charge

Let me start off by saying if you're at all contemplating going here for a massage just do it! Val is nothing short of a master masseuse! While visiting from California my sister and I came here for some much needed spa time and boy did this place exceed all of my expectations. Val is super professional and was able to work through my existing shoulder and back problems. He has this ability to sense and target trigger points and did work I didn't know I needed. He tailors your massage based on your personal needs and incorporates different techniques he's learned over his many years

I went with my boyfriend after calling in the morning and they took us in the afternoon. I personally had a great experience with Val, he was sincerely professional and knowledgeable and was very conscious about my injuries and sensitivities. My boyfriend didn't have the best experience but I am going to convince him to go to Val next time because I feel amazing. He told me that my hips held a lot of tension and he really hit all of the right points, actually using his elbow to release my IT band and I never knew I needed it.

Lynn and Val P did an amazing job on us! They focused heavily on the areas requested and it was incredible the relief we both felt from our sessions. Cleanliness was spot on, felt very Covid-safe. The staff were all super friendly; Pauline took care of my reservation yesterday and was able to accommodate us. Very grateful and we can't wait to come back. The staff know what they're doing!
