I went in there in November 2021 for a battery change on a 2012 Chrysler 200. They quoted me 165$ over the phone for the battery the night before. We go in the guy at the desk tells us it will be 280$ we did not have that. They told us they would do it for 190$ we agreed. Darren the guy with the pony tail was very nice and generous I will say. Well to get to our battery they have to have the front left wheel off. The guy tells us someone else broke our wheel lock key and he couldn’t get the lug nuts off, so he found an additional way to get to the battery. (However we saw him using a impact for

I owe Rich a review from years ago! I never did don’t know why but I’m truly sorry because he service my 09 Corolla and my Wife’s Murano and always gave us GOOD prices and quality work. Rich once went way beyond on letting me Borrow his work truck so I can make it to school while they fix my Corolla and that I do Appreciate it because what shop lets you borrow their vehicle to a client with no extra charge! You became extremely rude and and charged me $500 for an 80 service after you found out I was taking my service somewhere else, To a company that respects their clients. When I called back about getting that $500 credited you hung up on me rather than refunding my money for a service you didn’t do. Keep trying to spin it however you’d like to try and make you look better I hope all potential customers see this and decide

No BS, sometimes repairs can cost but they will give u an honest estimate. I dont know their names but the mechanic with the ponytail took the time to show me my worn harmonic balancer n explained to me what it does. They always warranty their work, fix it right n I'll never go anywhere else.

Was in Joliet and my belt came apart because of my own laziness. Rich called tow truck for me and got me in and took care of it. Gave me very fair price. Loved the responses to the bad reviews. Ive been in service industries for years and alot of people you cant make happy no matter what you do for them. These guys are good mechanics. I could tell by listening to their conversations. Customer service is horrible and I'm still experiencing the same car issue. The owner of this business was even dismissive. They wanted to charge me $60 for test driving my car, which was not mentioned to me prior to getting the keys to my car. Furthermore, I was charged $300 more compared to another competitor for the replacement my master cylinder. My recommendation is to shop around for better prices and customer service. Driving back to California from Maine I Stopped at Steak n Shake across the road noticed my engine light was on. Thought it was a relapse of an issue I had been dealing with. Stopped in as I drove by. They ran the diagnostic and got a code on tech had never heard of. Lead guy knew right away. I googled it and saw it was a recall on a part. So I figured that may have been the cause. But in the course of looking everything over they noticed my oil was extremely low. Did a flush and a clean and reran the diagnostic and it was fine.

So my car failed an emission test, and I call around places seeing which is least busiest, and this led me to Auto Medics, for a good reason. No wonder they don't have many customers and the only place not busy during peak hours.
At first they run the diagnostics and tell me the problem, then that's followed with a quote. It's my parents car so they're the ones paying for it, so understandably I said I will get back to them and let them know if I will need their service. Knowing I would not be getting it done at that moment, I asked how much a diagnostics check would cost

Our son's car died in Jolliet late at night on the way from Grand Rapids, MI to Iowa City, IA. He left it parked it in MacDonalds (they were very kind) and called us. I called Rich at Auto Medics Jolliet first thing the next morning from our home in Rochester, MN and he immediately arranged to have it towed in. Within the hour, Rich called back with the estimate (more than I was hoping, but VERY reasonable considering towing charges) and had it repaired and ready to be picked up 2 hours later.
