Services
The best part of my job is working with such a fantastic team and all of us sharing the same goal day-to-day, namely, making sure children and their parents have the best experience at our office. Our family goes to Table Rock Lake as much as possible. We are an active family, so we spend a lot of time at the gym or playing basketball and softball.
A pediatric dentist has extended their knowledge and skill with 2-3 more years of dental school. During this time, our dentists have studied and gained experience working with infants, children, adolescents, and special needs patients. Learning how to adapt and treat this specific group of patients is truly invaluable and brings a variety of benefits to the patient and their family.
Keeping kids' mouths healthy is our main concern - that's why Dr. Walker, Dr. Frazier, Dr. Parr, and all the rest of our team here at Children's Dental Professionals, LLC put so much of our focus on prevention. We want every child to get off to a good start in life, so we recommend bringing your child to us for his or her first visit by their first birthday.
I grew up in a small town in Northwest Arkansas. I had an early interest in dentistry and wanted to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry since the sixth grade. After graduating from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, I attended the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry. While in Kansas City, I met my husband, Robin.
I grew up in Haysville, Kansas. I felt very supported by my family and wonderful teachers while I was growing up. I loved being on the high school dance team and have many great memories with friends. I also have great memories of going to my pediatric dentist. My mom would reward me for good behavior at the dentist with a trip right after the appointment to K-Mart to get a new Barbie doll outfit.

The entire Children's Dental Professionals team is such a dream to work with. One of our kiddos had a tooth emergency after crashing on a bike. We were able to leave a message and were contacted almost immediately and came up with a game plan that put us at ease. Dr. Waker put us on the schedule the very next day and was able to shift patient to make sure she was the one caring for our child during the procedure. We couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome or better customer service.

My daughter truly enjoys going to the "place with the monkeys". Yesterday, she had her gums thinned by a laser to ensure when her front teeth come in there isn't a gap. This was completed with no pain to her and extreme patience. Dr. Parr explained to me what the expectation was for today and the rest of the week as it heals. I appreciate the details of knowledge so I know what to expect. Cannot express enough appreciation for the job they do!

I must say that my initial visit with the dentist was okay, she was very nice and explained everything in length. The strange part was when we arrive at reception, a scant 3 minutes past when we should have arrived ( and I even called to tell them I would be a "few" minutes late ) the receptionist was pretty dismissive and scolded me. She warned me that "usually you will be turned away if you're more than 10 minutes late! Was I in the twilight zone!? We were quite literally 3 minutes past, so I have no idea what clock she was reading ( I was reading the digital clock on her
