Services
Dr. Craig Wilson opened Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital in 1982, and has been serving pets in the Raleigh area ever since. Dr. Wilson's main partner in the early years was his wife, Pam. They even lived full-time in the practice for the first year. This era is why subsequent generations of Bayleaf employees and clients alike have been baffled to discover that Bayleaf to this day hosts a rather nice shower-bath.
At the time, he worked for a drug company monitoring clinical trials for investigational drugs. Changing careers, he attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at NCSU. He and his wife have a yellow lab named Gracie, a Golden Retriever named Sadie Mae, and a cat named Stella. When not working, Dr. Sullivan likes to spend time outdoors: mountain biking, road riding, and running.
Stephanie is from Raleigh. She is the proud owner of 3 dogs and 2 cats. A few of her favorite things about working for Bayleaf are the staff and the patients. Stephanie became interested in this job because of her passion for animals; the patients allow her to live out her passion everyday. She attended NCSU and graduated in 2011 with her bachelors degree in Animal Science.
Kaylee is from the beautiful Hudson Valley in upstate New York. She has a poodle named Rusty and a bunny named Foo Foo. Her hobbies include target shooting, baking and antiquing. Kaylee says the best thing about working at Bayleaf is knowing that everyone's pets receive the care they need. She also loves being able to work with so many great people, including her big sister, Lindsay.
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

Great vet. We had a dog and a cat at Banfield, which was OK but started our new puppy out at Bayleaf based on recommendations and really liked their approach and attention to detail. Don't know for sure but they seem a little bit cheaper too. Needless to say we ended up moving our other two pets over to Bayleaf and have continued to be really pleased

This is by far the best, most affordable, caring veterinary practice in Raleigh. They work hard to keep care priced reasonably, don't schedule unnecessary appointments, listen to pet owners and work together to resolve issues. we have been clients for 25 years and 5 cats. would not go anywhere else.

My dog just spent a couple days in the hospital there in kidney failure. She is resting at home now. Each of the doctors involved in Chance's care were so kind and compassionate. And the front desk folks were always sympathic and willing to check on her, no matter how many times I called. Great job, Bayleaf!

Bayleaf is all you could ask for in a veterinary service! I have been taking my cat here for the past 5 years. It was recommended by the rescue foster from which we adopted our cat. They are prompt, thorough, affordable and friendly. You can tell everyone here cares about what they do and both my cat and I really appreciate that above anything else. P.S. we travel 30 minutes by choice to go here. Thanks Bayleaf for always taking proper care of my fur baby!

I switch to Bayleaf about 9 years ago because my vet was getting outrageously expensive. My brothers recommended Bayleaf who has been taking care of his dogs for 17 years. I am so glad I switched. They are wonderful and reasonably priced. Now that my dog is 14 1/2 we seem to need to go more often. They are always very compassionate and explain what’s going on and the recommendations they have. I have totally faith in the Dr.’s and would not consider going anywhere else.
