Whether it's an elopement for two, pre-wedding for 25, a traditional wedding for 500 or a non-traditional wedding for your whole extended family, we understand that every wedding is unique in its own way. By being your documentary wedding photographer, we hope to learn and know exactly how you want your day to be.
We love and truly enjoy engagement sessions, it might even be our favorite session to do! It's a day for the couple and the photographer to just have fun with no pressure of making it a 'perfect' day. We believe the best photos are when our clients are relaxed, and they're just enjoying themselves -- that's our secret to capturing their genuine love and personality.

We hired Siliang for our wedding a little over a month ago and could not be happier. He was incredible to work with from the moment we reached out to get an estimate and check availability through to the day of. Siliang was extremely flexible with our requests, and everyone at the wedding was impressed with how hard he and his partner worked to capture all the action.
We just got the photos back (much quicker than expected!) and are delighted with the results.

Wonderful wedding photographer! Siliang is responsive and flexible, and seems to enjoy technical challenges (redwoods, low light, etc). He directed my husband and me to get some very good shots during our portrait session, and he and his assistant shooter worked tirelessly for the rest of the wedding to catch every angle. We really wanted a candid style for our photos, and Siliang delivered--in fact, he sent several hundred beautiful photos to us just a few weeks after our wedding. I have no regrets choosing him as our photographer!

Siliang takes the most artistic and creative photos! We didn't want the same old posed and awkward photos, we wanted a more natural and artistic approach. We had high expectations and Siliang still impressed us! We have so many fun and unique engagement and wedding photos that we honestly don't know where to begin in picking the best ones. Such a good problem to have! In planning a wedding through COVID, Siliang was also our easiest vendor to work with, he was so flexible with the changes and that was really helpful for us!

1. Candid photos: his photos are "alive". He captures the candid and precious moments, so when you look at your photos you will remember the precise moment those photos were shot. I personally prefer this versus posed, rigid photos. But of course, he can do that too if you ask him to.

The photos were amazing and he also won some awards too. I contacted him via email right away if he would be available for our wedding date. He responded very quickly to go over the cost and plan. After the agreement, we mailed the down payment to reserve.

We're so glad we chose Siliang to photograph our wedding. He was so easy to work with and his photos are beautiful. Siliang is very organized but also willing to be flexible and go with the flow of the day. We didn't want someone to focus on taking a billion portraits, we preferred more candid shots. Siliang does both really well. Not only are his photos gorgeous, they also captured the mood of the day. It seems like he caught every little moment, including many that we were too busy to notice.

My wife & I were looking for a photographer that was more on the fun and creative side as opposed to one of those stuffy boring photographers. If you do not hire this man to be your photographer, doesn't matter what event, you will surely regret it! I first found Siliang on weddingwire.com. His work is truly impressive and nothing like I have ever seen before. Then I found out one of my work colleagues had hired him for her wedding in the past so I decided to book him for mine too. Communication was really easy, and even after i had a few issues with my venue when it didn't come through, he was still able to reserve my wedding date even though I changed it twice. Siliang did such an amazing job with our wedding photo shot at the San Francisco City Hall and Golden Gate Bridge Fort Point, we liked that Siliang gives very specific directions on each picture, he is very friendly and easy to talk to, he made the whole experience very easy and fruitful, we were super excited and pleasantly surprised to get our photos in only two days.

We had a very important event in a short notice and Siliang tried very hard to rearrange his busy schedule helping us to complete the picture takings. Although we only had less than an hour to work on it, he was able to produce many really awesome pictures for us with great nature lighting in door and out door. He guided us naturally regarding to our poses. We were very comfortable while he was taking photos for us. The photos he took for us not only recorded the event but also presented in a very artistic way and they are beautiful. We really like them!

We hired Siliang (Steven) for our Indian American fusion wedding in January 2017 as well as for our engagement photos in September 2016. With all of our photos, I have been genuinely surprised at how fast Steven was able to complete the editing and get our pictures to us. We have LOVED seeing these special moments from his lens. Siliang helped us with our wedding photo. He's very professional and extremely well equipped. We had a crazy schedule. But, he was very diligent to help us capture all the places we wanted to go. He's very knowledgeable about the photo shooting spots in SF, and he designed a very efficient route through all the spots and we ended the day at sun set, on the beach with Golden Gate bridge in the background. Couldn't ask for more.

Siliang (Steven) is an exceptional and well-versed photographer, skilled in numerous types of photography, ranging from wedding to portraits to scenic to street photography. He has great technique for his shots, especially in lighting and shadow, which he knows how to use and manipulate to create beautiful pictures. He also makes sessions fun and helps bring out the best in you - I am very stiff and unnatural, but throughout our session, he helped me loosen up and helped me have fun with different poses. Overall, I am very satisfied with my session and highly recommend him for all types of photography
