Lovely little place with a quiet, inviting atmosphere. Drinks are delicious and well balanced, not too strong. Food is sublime, satisfying portion sizes and unique options. One of the best meals I've ever had in a restaruant. Highly recommended and well worth the little extra cost

We were expecting something a bit different but we're happily surprised with the fare and drinks. I think it's a bit on the expensive side, but definitely can expect great service and good food in return. The duck was great, and the scallops were too. Highly recommend the sprouts for an app

The appetizers, service, cocktails, and atmosphere were really good. Unfortunately, my friend and I were pretty unimpressed with our main course (i had a cauliflower dish and my friend had a soup and salad). I will definitely give this place another shot but will likely not pick a vegetarian option.

AJ (chef/ owner) catered a surprise birthday party (35ish people) for my girlfriend last night, and it was above and beyond awesome. The menu she created was spectacular, and all everyone talked about all night was how good the food was. Plus, she's an awesome person, pays her staff well, and gives a ton back to the community. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A great location for celiac friendly food. Almost all of the menu has gluten-free options. The service was really well timed. Every dish that we ate was fantastic!

My friend and I got a table at the last minute last night. We were both blown away by the food and service. The offerings are unique and flavorful. They also pay their employees fair wages which is done partly by adding 20% gratuity to all bills. Further, you can "pay it forward" and buy a quart of soup for those in need! I wish all restaurants were like this!

Pleasant atmosphere and refreshingly unpretentious. And, then there's the food! The halibut with lentils and "meat and potatoes" were both amazing entrees. The excellent asparagus salad had me asking for ingredients because the flavor was both exceptional and unexpected. My dinner guest raved about the pots de creme.

I also like that the service charge is added to the check, especially since the service was both attentive and unobtrusive -- always a tricky task.

Can't wait to go back.

Tried the place once and not worth going back! Totally unattractive decor and even less desirable food. Also, please keep in mind that the owner is an EVIL President Trump hating Bigot, who also has great disdain for anyone who stands with and supports Our President! I highly recommend going someplace far more worthy!

So I'm going to be honest and say that I've put off coming to Lazy Susan for a few years now, but I wish I would have come sooner. I knew the name based off the City Tins we always got, but I think the relatively small menu always made us pick a different restaurant.

That being said, we finally chose to dine with a few friends this past weekend and we were not disappointed. First off, the inside is very homey...almost like grandma's house. There are quilts hung up and cheesy little salt shakers on every table. But it was very welcoming.

We started with the lobster poutine.

We came here on a Sunday morning for brunch with a party of 8, we called ahead and they were nice enough to get a table ready for us. FYI Brunch is only served on Sundays.

We started off with some Apple Cider donuts which were just fantastic. So warm and sugary they really just melted in your mouth. My boyfriend got the Biscuits & Gravy and said it was really good. I had the Poutine which was the most Wisconsin thing you could possibly order on the menu- fries topped with cheese curds, bacon gravy, and an egg. Mmm it was so good you'll need a nap after.

As far as service goes, it was

Lazy Susan is my new favorite restaurant. Periodt.
The service and the food are fantastic!
The menu changes very frequently, daily maybe? So, every visit is something new to try and fall in love with. This is a dining experience when you'll find yourself "hmmming" out loud. Seriously.
There are a lot of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options including a gluten free fish fry that is delicious, crispy, crunchy and uses fresh cod.
This restaurant embraces vegetables and often makes them the star of dishes. It's so apparent that Lazy Susan values and utilizes local produce

Cute, kitchy, inviting atmosphere, like your grandma's kitchen with yummy elevated homemade dishes.
The eggplant fries had just the right ratio of eggplant to light and crispy breading. The eggplant was perfectly cooked (slightly firm, not at all soggy) and the burrata added a lovely light creaminess that nicely complimented the fresh marinara sauce.
The Saturday Great Lakes Distillery cocktail, a ginger Cosmo made with Gin, was so yummy I forgot to take a picture until I was already almost 1/2 way through it.

You guys.

This place!

Amazing.

Located in ever trendy and bustling Bay View, Lazy Susan offers an intimate, home-y space that puts a diner immediately at ease. Everything from the coat rack (such a nice gesture that so many restaurants don't seem to offer) to the kitschy and varied salt & pepper shakers (check out their collection near the bar before you leave!) lends itself to a feeling of comfortable welcome.

We began our evening with cocktails. I went for the ginger thyme old fashioned, which was an absolute delight. There was a cocktail at a bar I frequented in my previous home

I must have been a grinch the last time I reviewed this place because it is a gem.

Finding a table for 6 people for Sunday brunch can be stressful. I originally wanted to go somewhere else, but the time I wanted was booked, so I tried this place. I had been to a while ago and thought it was OK but had heard good things about brunch. Lazy Susan made my reservation really easy. All it took was a minute phone call. They even called to confirm a couple hours before, which was nice because one of my friends could not make it anymore (darn millennial snowflakes!).

Anyway. Service was great. Price

We went to Lazy Susan for the first time on Sunday for brunch. It was so incredible we couldn't wait to go back and try dinner. It was incredible as well. We left thinking how many times we had passed by Lazy Susan and not gone in. So many incredible meals missed!

The interior of the restaurant is bright and homey. Every table has a lazy susan on it to enable sharing of food. They also have incredibly cute salt and pepper shakers, different at each table.

For brunch I had the biscuits and gravy with the cheesy potatoes and my husband had the coconut French toast with a side of bacon.

Went a few weeks ago and had a great experience. The service was wonderful and we tried lots of fun new things. Would be a great place to share a bottle of wine and some tapas on a date night. The restaurant has a huge collection of salt and pepper shakers which were fun to check out! Reservations recommended on weekends! The deviled eggs were great; the flavor of the day was elote corn deviled eggs... something I would never think of but they were amazing! Eager to try their brunch!

This was the first time my partner and I came to the Lazy Susan. We saw that I was reviewed really well. But once we came in the we we're told the wait was 45 min. The hostess took our number and we received our call letting us know that the table was ready, only to wait another hour for the food that we ordered which was the special they had outside that said Bacon Eggs Poutine and my partner order the lumber Jack plate. Once the food came the lumberjack had one pancake that was under cooked, one sausage, one piece of bacon a side of cheesy potatoes that we're okay a tablespoon of fruit a piece

I'm ashamed, I've kind of forgotten about Lazy Susan. It's been several years since I've gone again and have been there 2-3 times, in total. My previous visits were a solid four stars with every intention of returning.

Last month in was International Women's Day. I read an article about women owned businesses and Lazy Susan was one of them so it reminded me. Coupled with driving past the area and telling myself that I had to go back sometime again.

A week or so ago when I was looking for an Easter brunch spot, I checked if they were open thinking it would be my chance

Brunch or dinner, Lazy Susan is a really solid choice. I've been several times for both meals and have overall good experiences. One time for brunch, I did witness some slow service. But it was nothing terrible and the wait staff is plenty pleasant and helpful to make up for it.

They have a great range of options for vegetarians, which always helps get good marks in my book. The dinner has a lot of shareable options and a lovely and intriguing cocktail list. The brunch has some great options as well - love it when I can get vegetarian biscuits and gravy! And really, those biscuits are probably

The food here is always delicious. They make changes to their menu almost daily so every few weeks it will be an entirely new menu.
My only complaint is their cocktails can sometimes leave something to be desired. The pictures below are from the MKE cocktail week 4 course meal with pairing. Each dish was absolutely delicious but the cocktails mostly felt flat and didn’t add anything to the dishes.
Overall I would still recommend this place without a seconds hesitation.

Had a date night here with my husband and we loved the ambience, the food, and the hospitality. We got good guidance on menu selection from our server and were happy with the size of the shared dishes. We ordered one dish from every category (fried green tomatoes for the app, mussels of the day, crawfish casserole, trout for the main). Everything was delicious; we packed up what we couldn't finish and still ordered dessert. The price was great for that amount of food, especially coming from the cost of small plates where we live (in DC). The owner was also super hospitable and we got to chat with

Have you ever had brunch at Lazy Susan? If you're answer is no then you simply must drop everything and go! This place is a lovely little gem and their brunch menu is excellent.

The savory bread pudding with a side of their sausage links- lip smacking, drooling as I think about it now, and 100% worth the calories. The only thing is they claim to make the eggs any way you request so I asked for overmedium and my friend asked for hers to be overeasy. I got overmedium but my friend did not get her overeasy- hers was more overhard. No big deal because the actual bread pudding was just delectable

My recommendation is you make a reservation ahead of time, at least if you're planning on brunch. We decided on a whim to go on a Sunday morning. Walked over and we were lucky enough to snag a couple spots at the bar.
I've been told they have a rotating menu. I went with a the Sunday scramble which had spinach, chickpeas, and asparagus on it, delicious. The cheesy hash browns were exactly what I wanted. Only thing missing, meat. So I went with the bacon Bloody Mary made with bacon gin, delicious. The bloody came with an olive, strip of bacon, green bean, pickle, cheese curd, and celery

Lazy Susan has some solid dishes going on here. It's tricky to talk specifics because the menu changes regularly and they make sure to warn you that if something sounds good, get it, because it could be gone tomorrow. Even so, it seems they have a version of deviled eggs and "Toast" on the menu and I really liked those a lot.

Their version of pad thai - with butternut squash instead of noodles was fantastic. I feel like the drinks were really hit or miss, veering toward miss for me, but they were adventurous and different and that is always admirable.

I wonder if they could invest
