My first job in photography was shooting yearbook photos, prom poses and high school football games in Atlanta, Ga just after high school. While not fine art I learned the basics of film photography and developing, posing, and studio lighting. After moving to Raleigh and spending a few years in the corporate world I made the transition from film to digital photography and began creating Season Moore Photography in 2004.

You bring the baby and the cake (or the tacos, or waffles, or skip the food all together for an adorable themed birthday session for ANY age!) and we will provide a customized set that coordinates with your chosen theme - and clean up the mess after.
Our end goal is to create beautiful portraits for you to proudly display in your home and enjoy for years to come. With over 15 years experience Season is not a "shoot and burn" photographer but prides herself on a professional, high end, and enjoyable experience from start to finish. For that reason all digital files include a matching 5x7 print both to enjoy and compare to reprints from other labs for quality assurance*.
Season Moore's studio will be focused on contemporary newborn, baby and child portraits as well as business and actor/model headshots and specialized mini session events. Using natural and studio lighting and modern backgrounds and styles Season strives to provide something different that your standard studio portraits.

We love Season Moore's work! She has photographed my children at multiple ages and recently photographed my high school senior. It was impossible to narrow down the images we wanted because she captured the very best of my daughter. She also makes the session really fun. Highly recommend!!!!

I recently booked a session with Season and everything was so professional and perfect. Her website is amazing - it has all the information you will ever need. I was able to book my session and get ready and didn't need any back and forth. She was on time as was the make-up artist she booked for me. The pictures came out wonderful - so much so that I purchased the entire set of files.

I booked Season for my daughters first birthday cake smash photos and they turned out amazing! Season was so great with bringing my ideas to life (I sent her my theme and some inspiration pictures and she put the whole set together). She was so patient with my daughter and captured so many beautiful pictures! We will definitely be booking Season for Christmas photos and using her for my sons first birthday cake smash when the time comes. Highly recommend!

Due to COVID we did not get the chance to take professional photos of our baby boy Kyren last year. So for his 1st birthday, we knew we definitely wanted to capture him but also make it special and memorable. We booked with Season for a smash cake session and I am so glad that we did! Season is hands down the best photographer our family has ever had the pleasure of working with. She is extremely accommodating to our hectic schedules of 4 kids and a husband who is always deployed. She was very easy to work with. She also took great photos of my constantly moving, uncooperative one year old. The best thing is that she took time with us to get multiple poses in different outfits, and I never felt rushed. This is much different than my experiences with other photographers. I am highly pleased and will use her again soon.

Season is an absolute pleasure! She did my daughter’s 1yr smash cake session and all the pictures turned out so good. She worked closely with me on my theme, made it super easy for me on shoot day and was so amazing with my daughter who was having serious stranger anxiety. I can’t wait to have Season shoot more pictures for our family in the future!!!

We had the pleasure of using Season for a Cake Smash & Splash session for our son's 1st birthday. Season made it incredibly easy, was flexible enough to create a new theme to my liking, and was patient with a little who didn't want to smile (the entire time) or want to splash around. The session lasted about an hour including costume changes, and we received more digital files than we had even hoped. I would definitely use Season's services again!
