I have always been interested in the body's natural inclination towards growth and healing and using the arts as a means to access inner resources. I entered the professional healing world in 2010, when I began training in the Usui system of Reiki, and completed my training as a Reiki Master and Teacher in 2016.

I attended Zen Shiatsu Chicago from 2015-2017 and am an AOBTA Certified Practitioner in Evanston, IL. I have also completed training in CranioSacral Therapy, Akashic Records, and Open Studio Project Art Facilitation- using art as a means to tap into one's inner wisdom. I also teach at Piven Theatre Workshop, which focuses on connecting with the body, listening, and trusting impulse and intuition.
Services
There are a few key differences between Shiatsu and traditional Western massage. Clients remain fully clothed for a Shiatsu session, which traditionally takes place on a soft futon on the floor, but can be adapted to a massage table.

Shiatsu combines the muscle manipulation and relaxation found in a traditional massage with the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine and pressure points used in Acupuncture, as well as an opening and stretching of muscles and joints experienced in yoga.Goal setting acts as a roadmap for the client's healing.
My experience with Eli was unique and amazing. I have had massages in Thailand and other countries, and sessions with Eli surpassed my expectations. The atmosphere is calming and extremely comfortable. After the awful confining year we all lived through, discussions with Eli put me in a much better place.
