Dr. Roberts graduated Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. He received his Bachelors degree in Integrated Studies of Biology and Business from Utah Valley University. He founded Utah Smile Clinic and subsequently Smile Systems, with 8 offices currently in the network.
At Utah Smile Clinic we love families! We have families of our own and pride ourselves in our ability to service entire families of all ages. Our doctors have children of their own and are great at working with children. We've found that a lot of parents will bring their small children to our office before they are ready for exams.
We understand that braces for adults or children can be expensive. The average cost of braces in Utah is $4,937. A dental implant is a surgical component that connects to the bone of the jaw to support a dental prosthesis such as a crown, bridge, or denture. It is done! My procedure was to pull all my remaining teeth, install implants and heal then up .Did full top and bottom teeth . Was it. a cake walk ? no not exactly, but easer then I thought. The worst to expect in the entire procedure is just being uncomfortable as you heal. Not a one day in and out for me. It's been 4 weeks after my last visit. love my teeth and back at corn on the cob and steaks. Dr Roberts earns his money . Very talented. All I can say if thinking about this it's not cheap , however after it's done my humble opinion is it's cheap and a real value. At

I went in for 2 implants over the last 7 years or so. I've already had 3 crowns on one tooth. Two from Dr. Roberts, and finally another one this year from my new dentist because there was a huge gap where food kept getting stuck in it. The slightly older implant has bone loss and they only cover 2 years for the warranty. (Mind you, implants are supposed to last a life time.) I would pay the extra money to go elsewhere. These are the only 2 implants that I have ever had issues with. I hope that he's gotten better over the last few years, but you can see the difference between his work and my other

Easy to get in for consultation, I was sold before I got there and when Dr Robert's gave me the price, I scheduled to have an implant bridge in lower back. I had a tooth pulled with graph 4 mos prior by different dentist, and came home bloody, bruised and miserable.
Dr Roberts pulled 3 teetg, bone graph and implant, I didn't feel pain at all! I had a hard time believing he did all that work that easy. He did and I am never happier. Another dentist talked about pulling all my bottom teeth and placing a snap in denture for 10 grand! I am happy I found Dr Roberts. His staff are all great, caring

My wife and were very impressed with Dr Roberts and his staff. What a great experience. We were nervous going in but it all worked out wonderfully. We had some minor issues along the way but the folks at the clinic handled our questions in a timely manner. One of the major points we would like to make, is the fact that there was no pain involved in the extraction process. My wife's recovery from that was amazingly quick. We would recommend the Utah Smile Clinic to anyone in need of a major dental restoration.

Great experience with Utah Smile Clinic. Receptionist was very friendly and she was able to get me in for a root canal right away.
Dr Locke is very good at what he does. He performed my root canal and I experienced zero pain during the procedure and very little pain afterwards.
I’ve seen a few negative reviews which had me a little worried at first but I was pleasantly surprised with how well the whole process went.

I don't usually write reviews but want to share my experience in the hope that it may help anyone that may be on the fence about having this done. I just finished having full upper and lower 3 on 6 dental implants at the Utah Smile Clinic. The procedure and outcome exceeded all my expectations. I now have upper and lower teeth that don't just sit on top of my gums but are under my gums like normal teeth.

My teenage son had 5 cavities...he had just gotten braces at another location... and Dr. Lock was amazing working around the new braces to fix his cavities. I was grateful the dentist has orthodontic experience to remove and replace brackets on his braces. It was extra work for him but he gladly did the appointment still. Would definitely recommend him. Also, the office got my son in in an emergency... Dr. Roberts went in extra early to fix my son's chipped tooth.

Scheduling appointments was a hassle. They never updated notes or my account. Didn’t realize what they were having me come in for until I was there. Very serious lack of communication throughout the office. Confused us on prices and went back on honoring prices they originally quoted. Dr. Locke and Marsha were absolutely wonderful though. My tooth looks and feels amazing. I’m very happy with it, worth the money. I just wish getting to that point hadn’t been so terrible.

I have been going to this clinic throughout the last year for regular cleanings. I just had to have a crown replaced. Dr. Locke did a phenomenal job. They utilize technology to prepare for the crown placement and then crown placement within the same day. It was great. When I have had other crowns placed it took several days to achieve the final outcome. Furthermore, the fit and feel as well as the look is much more natural and comfortable then my other experiences with other dentists. I would highly recommend this practice for their professionalism, quality, attention to detail and making the patient

There is a very high quality standard of service provided by the dentist and staff of this facility. Very professional while at the same time creating a caring and comfortable environment. I do not at all feel the same way that did growing up about going to the dentist office. These people changed my life, it was in complete destruction and me getting my teeth fixed was the first step for me to reclaim my life back.

I live in Seattle, but decided after much research to have my dental work done here in Utah. I am getting full mouth 3 on 6. I chose to have my work done by Dr. Roberts. I've already been here once before to have my implants placed and temporary bridges installed. Even though it was a 5 hour procedure, I managed to stay pretty much relaxed the whole time thanks to Dr. Roberts and his excellent assistants. Dr. Roberts seems to be competent. He did the original placement of my implant. But he did not do the finish work on my implant. It has been a year and a half since I had that implant done. Dr. Nguyen was the finishing doctor and she fairly well had to be forced to smooth out the crown. She would not even make an effort on the outside. I have a gap even still between my gums and crown enough to catch food in it EVERY time I eat. She made one of the gaps between the two teeth big enough to snag every bit of food that passes by. This particular crown

I am blessed to have known Dr. Roberts for a few years now. HE GAVE ME MY SMILE BACK! I HIGHLY recommend him and the Smile Clinic! Run!!!! This was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had. The front office is completely incompetent, said "I don't know." To every question I asked, asked me to pay for my implant procedure upfront and charged me for things that were not part of the procedure. When I asked to be reimbursed they couldn't reverse it on my card so told me they'd send me a check, but checks didn't go out until Thursday (it was Monday). Two Thursdays passed and nothing! Had to call back twice to remind them and finally get it mailed. Girls at the desk are young, not trained

I had throat cancer about 14 years ago. It was a Stage IV. I had wonderful doctors that saved my life yet no one told me about long term damage from the radiation. It's just that after so many treatments and these years later my teeth started to show the long term damage. I would brush my teeth, spit and 1/2 a tooth would come out; because I was left with no teeth in the front I had bone loss.

I have always struggled with my teeth. From the time when I was a very small boy I had always had sensitive teeth that seem to always break and become abscesed many many times which meant more root canals and crowns & bridges than I can recall. I am so happy .i had a horrible front tooth . The root was too far gone to have my crown stay in, they did the most beautiful implant . This place is the best, at affordable prices.
