I went in for a check engine light. Not only did they promptly and cheaply diagnose the problem, but then proceeded to fix it in under thirty minutes, all for an extremely affordable rate! To compare to the dealership, this was no wait (compared to a one-week wait for the dealership), a fifth the price, and a quarter the hassle. This is my new favorite auto shop, and I strongly recommend others make this their first stop for automotive needs.

This incident bothered me so much that I had to post it. And it happened quite a while back. And factually you're reading something by someone who was a manager for Goodyear for years. I took the word of the mechanic who replaced the parts that I just installed in my own vehicle. In the end I speak the truth, I was lied to and the repair was extremely expensive. I determined I was lied to after the job had been done and paid for and then was shown why the parts were replaced and it was nothing but a con job. I did make the promise to myself that if this company's name ever surfaced I would speak

Took them a 93 mazda miata that died while driving down the road. with-out asking what motor was in it, i was told it's a interference engine, FUN FACT - it's NOT! i told them i personally put a water pump, timing belt and some other things. instantly they said it was the timing belt and with it being a interference engine i'll need a new one. i asked to them to look at it anyways. a week later i get a text "out of time, you want a price for a new engine." when i went to pick it up it was in the same spot i left it, i towed it home and i checked the timing belt. TURNS OUT THEY DIDN'T EVEN LOOK

This is the only place I have taken my vehicle for over a decade and I will continue to do so. I've not only bought a car from Mastertech but have also had multiple other vehicles that I have owned serviced and repaired. I trust their work and pricing. Even thought they are probably not the cheapest in town, it is well worth it to me for the quality of work and the relationship I have developed with them over the years. We went to Mastertech for a second opinion after we had another local auto shop tell us we needed several repairs on our vehicle that didn’t seem necessary.
