In addition to caring for your smile on a routine basis with professional checkups and cleanings, maintaining excellent dental health sometimes requires directly addressing an issue that threatens your teeth and/or oral tissues. Dr. Dirk Anthony Newman graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003. He relocated to the Tucson area in 2014, and now provides his expert services to our community! In addition to earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Newman is an alumnus of the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida.
There's more to benefiting from excellent dental care than just great treatment results. At our office, we know that things like filling out patient forms when you first visit, trying to figure out the details of your dental insurance, and more can dampen your overall experience. Therefore, we aim to make every aspect of your care as convenient as we can.

What I really liked is the time Dr. Newman took to explain the current condition my teeth are in. He also gave me some recommendations
as to how I could preserve the teeth in a healthy state. We also discussed the dental insurance issues that effect dentist's as awhole.
I felt like I was given a thorough exam. A full set of x-rays and a panoramic were taken which were used by Dr. Newman to explain visually my teeth.
Extremely satisfied.

I've had cleanings, filling replacemenst, and crown replacements done by Dr. Newman and dental hygienist Robin. The office is always clean, professional, and well organized. They and the rest of the staff are always friendly and competent.
If you've ever had a temporary crown done and gone back for the permanent one, you will appreciate their capability to build the permanent crown while you wait. No temp!
I never hesitate to recommend Newman Dental !

Do NOT go to Dr. Dirk Newman. I have never had a cavity in my life (I'm 28) and I was going to him looking for Invisalign (already had braces as a kid just had a few teeth I wanted straighter). Dirk had fancy technology for finding cavities, took all these pictures and told me that I had EIGHT cavities forming that he would have fill before he would be comfortable starting me on Invisalign (claiming Invisalign will make these "cavities" grow at an exponential rate)... He took impressions of my teeth (which was old school technology and not the new Invisalign photo-scanning technology

I am from east coast and needed good dentist.
I am having difficult time finding quality care.
Dental wise this is it.
I had 2 semi emergency visits and both times I was able to get in immediately.
Brenda is great and Dr Newsome awesome.
He got the job done ,totally quick and painless... I highly recommend Dr Newman
