I've always believed that dentistry is my true calling because it suits my personality so well. It requires an interest in science and artistry, but most importantly a love for social interaction and working with people. The thing I find most satisfying about dentistry is the instant gratification of my work.
Dental veneers cover your teeth to improve your smile. These custom fitting covers are permanently bonded over each tooth and are meant to improve the tooth's look and hide defects. They are beneficial when you are trying to create an even gum line. In addition to cosmetic benefits, dental veneers can protect your teeth that have been cracked or chipped.
At Palo Alto Oral Health, we use digital x-rays, which have several advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated. Large on-screen x-rays make patient communication more effective.

I had a great experience working with Palo Alto Oral Health when I needed to bring my mother in to have extensive work done on her teeth. Dr. Sharma assisted us. His calm demeanor always makes for a relaxing visit to the dentist’s office. I witnessed this first hand when we took my mother who was suffering from quite a bit of pain and was fearful of what might be wrong with her teeth.

Dr Lin is my dentist and I always have a great experience from start to finish. Their office staff is always attentive and makes sure to follow up with me. Dr Lin is a pro and is very friendly and caring. She is a great communicator and makes sure to inform you how your dental health is doing and full of tidbits on how to take care of your own dental health. I feel like I'm in great hands and highly recommend them!

I don't normally write reviews but I was very happy with the care that I received at Palo Alto Oral Health. The team at the front was very helpful at explaining my benefits to me, the assistants worked hard to make sure I was comfortable, my hygienist was extremely gentle, and Dr. Sharma was very thorough and spent time explaining my diagnosis to me (he even showed me images from the internet to describe what was going on which was helpful). Overall, A+ experience and would highly recommend.

Just finished invisalign treatment here through Dr. Sharma and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! My teeth look wonderful! They do a fantastic job throughout the whole treatment, are gentle, and really informative about the invisalign process. 10/10 would recommend to someone looking to go through invisalign. Lovely staff as well.
