The purpose of your cars shocks is to keep your tires on the road. During normal driving you drive over potholes, speed bumps, etc. Shocks absorb the pounding and keep your wheels on the pavement without bumping you out of your seat. Suspension systems have become more sophisticated in the last decade or so which has driven up the cost of shocks but also has made shocks evolve into struts.

I would not recommend using them. They did not even know what a test pipe is. (Catalytic converter delete) if you don’t know what an exhaust system entails then you shouldn’t have an exhaust shop. (Response to owner) I was able to get it done at another shop. Many shops do this service. Not knowing what a test pipe even is shows a lack of experience in exhaust systems.

Chuck is the absolute best, and I trust him with everything about my vehicle. I originally found him because a franchise mechanic recommended I replace all my struts for around $4000 (the car is only worth a few hundred more than this). I sought a second opinion from Chuck, and he verified that my struts were just fine and didn't need to be replaced. Three years later my struts are still fine. He's replaced my roters, brake pads, done oil changes, etc. He's always so friendly, informative, honest, and helpful, and has cut me some amazing deals on different things. He's also fun to hang out with

My exhaust had rusted out on my work beater (sentra!) and needed to be replaced. I decided to stop here for a quote. Chuck was very friendly and gave me a quote within minutes. Dropped the car off in the morning and he got it done before noon. I was not expecting it to be done so fast, considering my past experience with other shops. best of all - MY CAR IS QUIET AGAIN!!!!!
