The Hartwell Corporation was founded by Ralph M. Hartwell in 1963 as an independent insurance and real estate agency. The company has grown steadily through a combination of internal production and external acquisition. Successful acquisitions of major insurance agencies in Caldwell and Nampa, Idaho, have made The Hartwell Corporation one of the largest Idaho-domiciled, privately owned independent insurance agencies in the state.

I love that they have people that speak both English and Spanish… it makes it easy to refer people to this business because I know they’ll be taken care of and language won’t be a barrier! Isaiah Paz is great! I also like how fast he gets back to me when I or they need something!

Do not use this insurance company for health insurance!! We started the process in July to purchase a new family plan when our old was ending in August. After not telling us about deadlines to file and not calling back till after that deadline we had to get a short term plan. I called back immediatly because the link wasn't working for full coverage. I called multiple times and again wasn't contacted till after this companies differnt deadline had passed which now leaves us without any way to get insurance for the next month!!!

Getting new auto insurance here was one of the easiest things ever! Ashley made it seem so effortless and took all of the initiative off of my shoulders. After some basic information, she provided me with the cheapest insurance I've found with the same coverage than 10+ other companies I've looked at. Not only did she find me the cheapest and best insurance but she did it all in about 10 minutes which included documents sent via email for me to sign electronically to get it all set up. Donna Thor has worked with us for many years. We have owned a lot of real estate through the years, and Donna’s attention to detail and follow up has been outstanding. We also have been through teenagers and a couple of accidents and she has always given good advice on the process. She also keeps an eye out on our policies at renewal time to assure that we are not overpaying on our policies and that we are getting the most competitive pricing. I gives us a lot of peace of mind.
