In Italian culture, pranzo is the most important meal of the day. It's the time when families stop whatever they're doing to gather around the table. Pranzo is meant to be enjoyed with the company of others- whether it's a budding friendship or a lifelong partnership. Ever since I was a kid, I've had a dream of having my own restaurant.
Watching my parents grapple with the chaos of running their own pizza place yet love what they did enchanted me. When I opened Pranzo at our first location on Vine street in 2007, I wanted to share my nostalgic experience of my family's love, bewilderment, and passion for the restaurant. Since our opening, we've been constantly evolving and using our creative ambition to expand past our comfort zone.

Food was delicious but I was super uncomfortable from the moment we walked in the door. You can tell from the staff and everyone around you that this is definitely a place that is designed for regulars and only regulars. Or if you're rich and white you'll probably be accepted as well. When the server came over to our table it was immediately apparent that she had a problem with us. She then stood there and explained the entire menu in what I can only describe as a very demeaning way. She wasn't outright rude most of the time but she had an air of distain towards us for the whole experience. Based

We decided to have our company Christmas party here and we were glad we did! We had a blast and Dominic made sure to take good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed for a great evening. The food is very delicious, not your average low quality Italian food because you can actually taste the freshness of their ingredients. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back!

Wanted to support a locally owned business so we thought we would try here for dinner. Nice atmosphere. After coming in and no one acknowledging us... We took it upon ourselves to find a table. Sat there over 5 minutes before anyone approached. At the time we arrived there was one other couple seated and a few at the bar. Food runner finally took a drink order. Told us our server would be right over. Once he finally came.. Took an appetizer order. Brought the meatball appetizer which was tasty but cold. Never came back again to ask how things were...or take our meal order until several minutes

Wow. Where to start? Went here with a party of 4 last night, a Thursday and sat on the patio in back. Wasn't that busy. Three other tables taken, 2 with 2 people and 1 with 3. One table tuned over once. Two servers for the patio. A blonde and a brunette; we had the brunette. She didn't say her name. Maybe a new staff after just reopening from CV closure? Not sure. 157 reviews with only 21 of them in the last 6 months, but most with 4-5 stars. Not this review though, for sure. Most of the low reviews concern the service. I have to agree. It was horrible! Its probably been 30 years since I've only
