It has been over 40 years since we opened this restaurant. Prior to its opening, it was a sandwich "kitchen" known as the Dutch Door. We catered coffee, rolls, bagels and egg sandwiches to a neighboring construction site, which was the Southampton Inn, then owned by the Passavia Family. The following year we began to sell pizza.
