Law Office Of Michael A Coffino
If you have been arrested or charged with a crime you need experienced representation now, before investigative leads grow stale and the government solidifies its position. Marin County criminal defense attorney Michael Coffino's results in the courtroom speak for themselves. Dubbed the "best attorney money can't buy" by the Marin Independent Journal, he has successfully handled thousands of criminal cases and has 20 years of experience.

Mr. Coffino has won acquittals at trial in cases of all kinds - from homicide, rape, molestation and kidnapping prosecutions to drunk driving, assault, drug possession, burglary and weapons cases.
Services
Mr. Coffino graduated with honors and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Oregon and received his law degree and M.A. in philosophy at the University of Wisconsin, where he was Articles Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review. A high school track All-American, he represented Oregon at the Pac-10 championships and in 2009 was inducted into the Marin Athletic Foundation Hall of Fame.
Third Offense DUI Dismissed - motion to suppress evidence granted based on prolonged detention by police before DUI field testing started. Rape defendant acquitted - Mr. Coffino went to trial on multiple counts of forcible rape and related sex charges. The jury found the defendant not guilty on all substantive crimes with only a misdemeanor conviction for failure to register as a sex offender.
Mike is 110% the best choice for a defense attorney. When we first called him, we were nervous, scared, and completely ignorant of the criminal justice system. His thorough knowledge and thoughtful approach helped us achieve the best possible outcome: a full dismissal of all charges. He does all of this with kindness, respect and a sense of humor.
