At Elite Spinal Health and Wellness/Elite Human Performance, we care for people with a wide variety of conditions. Although genetics sometimes plays a role, problems normally arise because of trauma, athletic injury, or repetitive motion. The first visit you will fill out our paperwork if you have not already done so on our website. This is the "information gathering" day to give us everything we need to prescribe a customized care plan for maximum results. The second visit will be when the doctor will review all of the findings from your history and examination as well as any diagnostic testing that may have been done.
Being in an auto accident is stressful enough without having to worry that all of your issues are being addressed. It is all too common that Personal Injury (PI) cases are handled in an "assembly line" fashion. Often times patients feel they are "fixed" due to their initial pain going away. They become frustrated when they develop symptoms weeks or even months away from their initial accident.
The most common therapeutic procedure performed by doctors of chiropractic is known as chiropractic adjustments. The purpose of adjustments are to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become restricted in their movement - as a result of a tissue injury.

Report
I come to Dr. Chavis every Monday via a 40-minute commute from Dundalk, MD.
I was originally introduced to him earlier this year after learning that Elite was the sponsor of our slow-pitch men's softball team. After my initial consultation, I knew that I wanted Dr. Chavis to be the one to help me in my recovery (injury at work to my L4, L5 and SI joint). He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. He explains exactly what his goals are for YOUR health, but listens to your every concern and makes you feel important.
There are plenty of chiropractors located closer to me, but
