As a practice, Woodyard Dental Care is a true believer that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide "dental health care" vs. "disease care". That's why Dr. Jonathan Woodyard focuses on thorough exams - checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary.
I lOVE what I do. Having the privilege of being a dentist in the community in which I was raised, is such an honor, and it is a responsibility that I do not take for granted. Growing up in Livingston County, KY, I always knew that I wanted to help people in the health field, but I never considered being a dentist.
We made the move to a new state of the art facility that's going to allow us to provide excellent patient care in a beautiful calm and relaxing environment. The move was initiated to provide more room to take care of our patients and meet the ever increasing demand for our services while creating a space that we can grow into for years to come.
At Woodyard Dental Care, Dr. Jonathan Woodyard, the best dentist in Paducah KY, provides exceptional care for your oral health. Checkups are recommended every 6 months for a healthy mouth, and every 3-4 months for those with Periodontal Disease/Gum Disease. Examinations should occur at least once a year, depending on your past history of cavities.
A Dental Bridge is a fixed (non-removable) appliance and is an excellent way to replace missing teeth. A Dental Crown restores cracked or decayed teeth. A crown (or cap) is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. You can even get a new crown in one appointment with same-day dental crowns.

Today was my first visit to Woodyard Dental Care and I am impressed. First, their office is very inviting with nice decor and soothing colors. The receptionist was very friendly. The hygienist, Emily, was gracious and explained everything. And Dr. Woodyard was amazing. He spent a lot of time with me getting my history. Then during the exam, he explained everything he did and why he did it. This was my first visit but I am so happy with my visit. Everyone made you feel comfortable and safe.

Such a friendly, welcoming office! We felt so at home immediately. My daughter had her first ever cavity filled today, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think she may have actually had a little fun. It took NO time, and she told me three times there was no pain at all. She really likes the doctor and his staff. Highly, highly recommend!

Love Woodyard Dental! The front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming! The hygienists and assistants are very professional and make you feel at ease. Dr. Woodyard is so kind and personable. I love that he and his staff individualize a treatment plan for each patient. Definitely the best dental experience I have ever had. I recommend Woodyard Dental to anyone!

Best dentist I've been to! Very professional operation in all respects. Love that Dr. Woodyard does the majority of usual procedures right in house -- including crowns and root canals. Getting a crown in one visit is truly amazing. Mary is a wonderful hygienist with a solid knowledge of her area of expertise. You won't be disappointed!
