Samantha Smith Dickinson, Owner of The Smith Law Offices, graduated with Honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 2005 and with a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law in 2008. Samantha began her legal career, while in law school, working with an esteemed Plaintiff's Personal Injury attorney in Detroit, Jon Garrett.
Betsy Geyer Sedore joined The Smith Law Offices, P.C., in April of 2019. As an Associate Attorney, she brings over 16 years of litigation experience to the firm, having served as an Assistant Prosecutor in both Wayne County and Livingston County, Michigan. For the previous two years, she prosecuted cases for the Wayne County Sexual Assault Kit Task Force in Detroit, Michigan.
Kira Damusis Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Central Michigan University in 2008, with a Bachelor of Science, where she majored in English Literature and minored in Legal Studies. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University Detroit College of Law in 2011. While attending law school, she dedicated herself to working as a Senior Law Clerk for the Mid-America Pension Rights Project, a division of Elder Law of Michigan.

I just got off the phone with Brenda at this office and they have horrible customer service please be aware they know everything and the law doesn't matter its all about the procedure and DHHS rules that they dont follow in the first place. all I want is justice. is the law not about this anymore

The best money I've ever spent was spent on Smith Law Offices, particularly Samantha, but also Brenda, Betsy, Kaila and the rest of the team. I actually called Sam personally to tell her that after our initial motion was resolved.
I came in with what by all accounts many would consider a nightmare (I know that someone always has it worse, but work with me here!) While I was looking for a lawyer to help me with my divorce, I spoke to many getting information. When I called Smith Law offices, a woman named Brenda answered the phone and I asked all of my questions and expressed my concerns while she listened very intently. We set a consultation when I spoke to the lawyer and she was very nice and informative. Brenda was my point of contact at the office and was very responsive and understanding of all my questions and concerns. I just recommended them to a family member who is looking for a lawyer. Brenda, Kaila, Samantha and Kira were amazing. I was so anxious and nervous dealing with my Family court issue, they were able to bare with me and take great care of my concerns. They answered all of my questions and spelled it out for me to understand in its entirety what I was dealing with. It has been a rough ride, but nonetheless these ladies took great care of me!

Samantha and Kira were awesome! They went above and beyond getting me thru to the finish line for my modification. My end goal was to have more time with my daughter and I got that and much more. These ladies handled themselves with class and are brilliant at what they do. I used the Smith Law Office in my child custody case. It was the best decision I made. Attorney Kira was absolutely amazing, walked me through everything.
