Laser technology has proven to be an effective tool in human medicine for over 30 years. Horizon Animal Hospital is excited to be among the few veterinary hospitals in the Phoenix-metro area to offer the benefits of laser surgery for the non-human members of your family. Laser stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission Radiation.
For your pet boarding needs we have available 78 Kennels for dogs, including 46 runs. All kennels are indoors and climate controlled for your pets comfort. These custom stainless steel and glass kennels are designed to eliminate places where contamination can accumulate and a high pressure power-wash system insures that each kennel can be thoroughly cleaned daily.
Spaying and neutering are surgical procedures intended to render your pet incapable of producing puppies or kittens by the removing of the organs of reproduction. Spaying, a term that refers to the female, is a procedure to remove the uterus and ovaries, and is most comparable to a human hysterectomy.
Our five regular exam rooms provide a quiet place to discuss all your pet's needs. After a technician has obtained the accurate weight and temperature, the Doctor will arrive and begin the physical examination. Many problems can be diagnosed here and minor treatments and vaccinations will be performed in the room.

I absolutely love the handlers and facility at Horizon. My dog Maximus always comes home happy and healthy. I make the drive from Gilbert b/c it’s the best place In the Valley. They also have grooming for longer stays so I can pick up a nice clean and groomed dog.
