We have already built in time to chit chat before and after your massage, meaning you are guaranteed a full 60, 75 or 90 minutes of "Hands on Time".

Services
Smooth bamboo sticks are warmed and used with a combination of massage techniques to provide a deeply relaxing massage that will relieve stress and provide an unbelievable massage experience. One of the most commonly taught and well-known massage techniques. A number of soft tissue manipulations and combinations of strokes are tailored to the needs of the client.
The actual term "aromatherapy" first originated in 1937 when French chemist Rene-Maurice Gattefosse invented the word after a burn incident, and the healing effects of lavender, spurred his curiosity about essential oils. Aromatherapy essential oils are made using hundreds of different plants, flowers, herbs, roots and trees.
Best for chronic pain, your therapist will use slower, deeper strokes to reach the deeper layers of muscle and fascia. Deep tissue massage breaks up scar tissue and "knots" or adhesions that can disrupt circulation and cause inflammation, pain and reduced range of motion. The superficial muscles must be relaxed otherwise tight surface muscles prevent the massage therapist from reaching deeper musculature.
Swedish massage involves using 5 different strokes to ease pain and stiffness and promote relaxation. The primary goal is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by massaging the muscles with long gliding strokes towards the heart. Dutch practitioner Johan Georg mezger (1838-1909) was the first to adopt the french names for the 5 basic strokes.
We believe regular, therapeutic massage should not be just a luxury, but part of an affordable life-style. All massages include gratuity, warm bamboo, aromatherapy and hot towels. There are no contracts or monthly fees needed to book appointments for the wellness plan. Just book your appointment and we will keep track of how often you schedule and you'll receive the appropriate discount.

Heather is wonderful! I go to her biweekly and she always takes great care of me. She’s very responsive to how you like the table temp, what kind of pressure you need and where you’d like to be worked on for that session. She has a variety of hours that includes after hours during the week, which is great! She has incentives for returning clients and is a personable, kind masseuse. She comes highly recommended from me!

I've been going to Blue Orchid for a few years now and I have to say Heather is a true professional and very gifted at massage. I've struggled with back injuries from an auto accident and compared to all of the other treatment I've received elsewhere such as acupuncture, chiropractic, rhizotomy, etc., she has consistently helped me the most with her massage treatment. I will continue to see her and refer my family and friends to Blue Orchid Massage. Thank you so much Heather!

Heather is the best massage therapist I have found in Denver. I come away feeling like my muscles have actually been loosened up. The muscles that need it. It makes a big difference to my posture after spending all day on the computer. I tried several places before finding Heather. They charged more, the massage wasn't as good, and they kept trying to sell me other stuff (facials etc) that I didn't want. Heather just does massage and she does it really well.

I have been going to Heather for the past three years now. I started with 60 minute massages and quickly moved to 90 minutes. As soon as I could afford it, I started getting a 90 minute massage every 2 weeks. On occasion, I have strayed from Heather, mostly when on vacation, and I ALWAYS regret it! Heather uses heated bamboo sticks to really work out the knots and tension in your back. She is deceptively strong and does a great job working on my problem areas. Heather is professional, kind, and great at creating a relaxing environment. Her space is quiet and clean. Not to mention that her prices

Heather, with Blue Orchid Massage, is incredible. I've been going to her consistently for the past 2 years and would highly recommend her to anyone, whether you're looking for relaxation or deep tissue. I generally hate deep tissue, but there have been times when I've really needed it, and Heather is amazing at working out the tough knots while still being gentle. I don't know how she does it. Every massage is wonderful and I've seen a significant decrease in shoulder tension and migraines since seeing her. She is the sweetest person to work with and her prices cannot be beat. Make sure to check
