I'm an award-winning baby and family photographer and a teacher and mentor to photographers across the country. More importantly, I'm a wife and mom with an endless to do list, a sneaker obsession, and a weakness for ice cream. My 12-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son are my favorite people in the world.
My husband is my best friend. My family is the most important part of my life. Like all moms, I know that the days go by slowly, but the years just fly by. That's why photography is so important to me. It lets me freeze all those moments that go by too fast! When a client tells me, "I can't believe how quickly his first year is going by, " I totally get it!

I love a challenge. Whether it's building a business or some Ikea furniture, solving a problem makes me happy. Which also means that my FAVORITE kids are the "difficult" ones. Whether it's bringing a shy kid out of their shell, wrangling a team of a tiny tornados, or winning over a cranky kiddo, I can't get enough!.

We just used Maggie for the first time for a mini session. I was worried bc my husband is not a fan of taking pictures. Maggie and her assistant made us all feel so comfortable. She was able to capture our two small children in moments of laughter that were priceless! I am in love with all the pictures she took!

Maggie shares great tips in her classes to get you out of auto mode and taking the kind of photos you want to take! One criticism we had was that her introduction about herself - school, previous career, and children lasted about 40 minutes, which we all agreed could have been better spent on class material. Also, she made comments that she was really dreading getting ready for our class :-0, and made fun of "outdated" fisheye photography, which all of us have from our weddings. The material is great, she just needs to work on her professionalism and reading her audience.

We booked a mini session with Just Maggie Photography to update our family portraits and to have nice photos for the annual holiday card. We drove all the way from LA's South Bay to Santa Clarita, and it was so worth it. The session was a lot of fun. Maggie let the kids be their silly selves, and helped us parents relax. The photos came out great. The photos are sweet, natural, and artistic, which pretty much describes my family. Thank you Just Maggie Photography! I look forward to going to her again in the future (hopefully a closer location).

Maggie is one of the most talented photographers we have ever met! She captures each moment perfectly, in a way that is authentic, real, and truly reflects who we are as a family...not contrived or cookie cutter the way some traditional newborn photos can be. She also has such talent and experience with newborns and families - we were absolutely amazed at the way she worked with them. And she is so professional and easy to work with. Our photo sessions with Maggie were so much fun, and in and of themselves became some of the highlights of the year. We are so grateful that she has helped us capture

Maggie and her team are incredible.
My wife and I hired her to photograph our daughter's first year which consisted of 4 big sessions and then in between we had various other holiday and family sessions.
After each session we had a hard time mainly because it was so hard to not pick every photo she took because they were all fantastic. She is really that good and has a very natural ability to bring about the best from her subjects during the sessions and make the best of every minute she is photographing.
She always is very prompt for her scheduled session times, she works quickly and
