Dr. Nicole Reilly has owned and led Aurora Hills Animal Hospital since 2011. Aurora Hills Animal Hospital is a full service, companion animal hospital capable of providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental health care. Here, our philosophy is to offer the best health care options for every pet, every time.

In our hospital, we have laboratory and radiology diagnostic capabilities, a well equipped surgical suite, a full pharmacy, advanced general dentistry, and a closely supervised hospitalization ward. We use an outside reference laboratory for advanced diagnostics. We work closely with board certified specialists and our local referral centers as needed to insure the best course of action for our patients.
Services
I am a Colorado native who lived in Washington, DC for over 20 years. Upon returning to Colorado, I became a proud team member at Aurora Hills Animal Hospital. I have always loved animals and truly enjoys interacting with Aurora Hills Animal Hospital clients and their pets. I have three cats; Tommy P, Talula and the beloved 'Stevie 3 Paws'.
Here are some questions/answers that we are frequently asked. If you have additional questions that aren't covered here, please feel free to give us a call at Aurora Hills Animal Hospital 303-360-0760. Yes, patients are seen by appointment. We do see emergencies during normal business hours; please call ahead if possible to alert our staff of your arrival.
Every initial consultation is a minimum of 30 minutes long per pet. Our new puppy and new kitten initial consultations are 45 minutes long to allow adequate time for us to discuss all of your concerns for your new furry friend. Initial consultations for skin disorders are also 45 minutes long. We want to stress to you that your concerns are important to us; therefore we are committed to having adequate time to discuss your pet's health.
Offensive breath odor in our pets is a sign of oral disease. Periodontal disease, oral tumors, or immune diseases could be the problem. Foul breath odor should never be ignored. Having your pet's oral health assessed at the first sign of trouble could prevent costly and invasive oral treatments. Digital dental radiography so that we expose your pet to less radiation and get images faster to lessen the amount of time your pet is under anesthesia.
Here at Aurora Hills Animal Hospital we do not perform anesthesia free dental cleanings. This type of oral care is in no way equal to a cleaning that is performed while your pet is under anesthesia. We have had cases where a pet has just undergone an anesthesia free cleaning only to have Dr. Reilly assess that the pet has many more problems that were not and could not be addressed via an anesthesia free cleaning.
