If you have been denied an Immigration application or the Immigration Judge ordered you removed, you can file an appeal to have these decisions reviewed. The first level of appeal is the BIA (Board of Immigration Appeals). If the BIA confirms the denial then you can file a petition to the 9th Circuit Court to have your case reviewed again.

We can file a motion for a bond to get your family member or friend out of Immigration Custody. If your family member or friend is arrested by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), they may get a chance to see a Judge to request for their release based on bond. If you need a lawyer, might as well defend yourself or get a public defender. Truly a waste of time! Un responsive, unreliable. All of the negative comments you see are correct, I thought everyone has their own experiences but they are correct. My best advice is to stay far, far away from this firm.

I have recommended this attorney to many of my friends and family and I stand by my recommendation. I feel the necessity to post because one of the people I recommended gave a negative review. The negative review given by Rene P is uncalled for. I must defend my name because he said in his review that the person who recommended him (which is me) regretted the recommendation. That is not true. I know that Burga law firm is a great firm and 100% of the people besides Rene P that I have recommended always give me good feedback. Arturo Burga is hands down one of the best and most compromised attorneys in Southern California! He shows real care for his clients and is willing to do its best always to succeed in his cases. Hands down worst experience with this attorney. Please stay away from him. I filed for divorce with him on February 2017. Did not hear from them for a year!!!!!! 18 months later my divorce got rejected because they missed a form!!!!!! Not only that....my case is so EASY!!!! My ex agreed to everything!!!! Going to court can be VERY stressful! Art Burga at Burga Law Firm eases that stress. It's hard to find a lawyer that will keep you updated on your case on a regular basis. He is a lawyer that answers, and returns, phone calls promptly (even with his busy schedule).
He has represented me in both Los Angeles and San Bernardino County. And from my understanding, he does work in San Francisco and out of state as well. So don't let location be a factor in choosing a lawyer.
