During your first visit and at all check-ups with us at Schoolhouse Family Dentistry, Dr. John will assess your dental health with a comprehensive dental exam. We believe it is just as important to use the most advanced dental technology available as it is to stay up-to-date on the latest treatments.
Crowns are recommended for patients who have teeth that have decayed or broken, are beginning to show fractures, or have large, old, compromised fillings that are no longer able to provide longevity to the tooth. After decay and old fillings are removed, a core-build up, or foundation for the tooth, is placed for strength and stability.
Losing a tooth is a difficult experience to go through. Thankfully, modern dental technology offers an amazing replacement option; the titanium implant. Once restored with a crown, the implant looks, feels and acts like your natural tooth. The titanium post is implanted into the jawbone in the position of the lost tooth.

After having much restoration over the years, I can tell you Dr.John lays out a plan to allow you to achieve desirable results. There is never pressure but always honesty, he’s always up front in his messaging. He also is willing to listen to feedback, with no sensitivity.
Taylor who is his assistant was superb in skill at my last appointment, two crowns, and the process was seamless from start to finish. My teeth look beautiful!

Our family unsuccessfully tried a couple of practices before finding Schoolhouse Family Dentistry and we're so happy we did. The 5 of us have gotten to work with Judy, Kayla, Tiffany, and Dr. John - plus the awesome front desk staff that I didn't get to meet by name - and we are beyond happy with each of them. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable - they made the visits so pleasant. We'll be looking forward to - instead of dreading - our next visits.
