100% recommend Lake Wylie Euro! I purchased my BMW X5 (2012) that needed a complete engine overhaul due to oil leaks. Lake Wylie Euro replaced and installed new valve guide seals, new catalytic converters, new water pump, new belts, new battery...the list goes on and on. I think they're awesome. I have a bmw diesel and, while I absolutely love my car, I unfortunately have little knowledge in auto mechanics. I feel like they take the extra time to help me understand what's wrong, what's being done, and do it in a way that doesn't come off as rude or condescending. That means a lot to me. I've asked a ton of questions about modifications/repairs/changes and I feel their answers are honest, even if it's not what I want to hear. I highly recommend them!

Great local euro shop and dealer service alternative. Their team seems to be enthusiasts too which is appreciated when you're entrusting them with your BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc. I learned the hard way to have them do a PRE buy inspection, not a POST buy inspection when purchasing a used euro vehicle. Realized in the post buy report why I was getting a "good deal" on the used BMW I purchased from a private seller. I've been taking my BMW X5 to Lake Wylie Euro for two years. I highly recommend them, and have been extremely pleased with their work. If Nick Benner was a neurosurgeon, I would trust him with my life! We had our BMW serviced with him for over 3yrs. He was always fair, accommodating and thoroughly knowledgeable in whatever issue we had. As with any European car, we had a few random issues. From routine maintenance to repairs, we always knew Nick was going to deal with us fairly and provide the best of service. Without hesitation I recommend him and his team at Lake Wylie Euro.

If you own a European vehicle you owe it to yourself to take it here. These guys are great! Had a couple of issues with our BMW and they took it in and had it diagnosed within a couple of hours. The work performed was excellent! They keep you updated on the process of the repair by emails and text messages. Great communication! Will definitely be back!

I've been to this location twice to have my VW Jetta looked at. The first time I came I had an issue with the car just shutting off on me while I was driving. They fixed that issue but then there was another issue. When I drove trying to leave the shop, I pressed on the breaks & it felt like metal grinding. I couldn't leave because I did not feel safe hearing this sound every time I tried to come to a stop. So I went back told them about this issue & he began to check it out. He came back & said you should be good to go now. I asked him what the issue was & he said it

Without hesitation they'd so unselfishly furnished me with everything I'd requested and more ( while maintaining the previous owners confidentiality )without hesitation with nothing to gain as I am hundreds of miles away.
They listened intently and patiently and without hesitation I was contacted within two hours time.
In this current world I know of no other business that would give two minutes of their time and attention regarding products and services

I was looking at a car in the area, and needed a pre-purchase inspection. The guys at Lake Wylie Euro were recommended via the BMW CCA, and for good reason. They were able to perform a very thorough PPI at very short notice, at a reasonable price, and provided written estimates for the needed repairs. As I needed to drive the car approximately 500 miles, they recommended a couple of repairs prior to the journey, and were then able to complete these jobs by the following morning. Very happy with the service.

I have been bringing my 08 BMW 335xi here for about 2 years after reading a review on Bimmerfest. We all know how difficult it is to find a decent knowledgable honest mechanic. My wife was in her hometown of Gastonia, NC to see her family and was headed home when our 2004 BMW 330Ci (SSG) beeped at her and entered "limp" mode on the transmission (we live in North Georgia now).
Knowing that it would require specific-knowledge to diagnose and correct I called my local mechanic and asked the guys on e46 Fanatics for a recommendation. Lake Wylie Euro was the answer.
She took the car down at closing and left it over night. Nick called that evening saying he couldn't duplicate it but had ordered a Salmon Relay just in case so it would arrive in the morning
