616 REALTY was founded by Scot Kellogg. Born and raised in West Michigan, Scot comes from a family of builders. He worked as a builder from 1997 to 2002 and, during this time, cultivated his passion for all things real estate. He became a licensed Realtor in 2001 and a licensed broker in 2011. That same year, Scot founded 616 REALTY with a vision to be the region's go-to hometown real estate firm.

Scot and Shelley were great to work with! Scot helped us sell this spring, and we stuck with him and his team for buying. It was the best choice. They made the home search process fun, even in 2021, and were responsive to our scheduling needs at the drop of a hat. We worked with Rob Young and highly recommend him. There can’t be a better realtor. He thoroughly explained the market we were buying in and had good advice for us as sellers. We were moving to MI from another state. He is both knowledgeable and experienced with new builds and purchasing existing homes. He went above and beyond to video and view homes/lots for us since we were hours away. When we experienced difficulties with our builder he went to bat for us with great professionalism. Moving can be all around stressful however working with Rob removed the stress.

My wife and I started working with 616 Realty to buy our first home in February 2020. We didn't know what we were doing, but 616 Realty guided us the whole way. We looked at many, many homes. We were picky, and because we have hectic schedules, we almost always gave short notice to see if we could go see a house. Yet, Scot always found a way to get us into a home, and never lost patience. We've worked with realtors, who after a while, start to get a little pushy. We had Scot and his agents (Marcy and Shelley) driving all over West Michigan to see homes with us for months. We never felt rushed.

Our realtor Pam Merriman was amazing! My wife and I could not recommend her more! She was always available to talk, and worked very hard to get us the best out of our offer! Our builder we went with had a hard time doing their job sometimes, and Pam made sure to keep on them and helped make sure we got into our house when we did! Whenever anyone asks us if they need a realtor, Pam will always be who we recommend!
