It then moved to West Third and Broadway Streets in 1947. In 1962, Heapy & Associates, along with Lorenz + Williams, designed the over-all site and the first building (Allyn Hall) for the newly established Dayton Campus of Miami University / Ohio State University later renamed Wright State University.

Heapy Engineering moved into a newly built Headquarters that received an International ASHRAE Energy Award as one of the most energy efficient office buildings in the world. In 1981, Heapy Engineering creates a Special Project's Team to provide Commissioning, Energy Analysis and Master Planning Services.
