Our mission is to create a dental home for children and their families to help guide them through exploration and education about their oral health and development. We are committed to work with your child to build a lifetime of positive attitudes towards dentistry while focusing on prevention and delivering safe, state of the art treatment.
This is our #1 goal as your child's health care provider. Did you know that tooth decay is the number one preventable childhood disease? We strive to see all children by the age of one so we can help to educate you early and focus on prevention. As your children grow, their preventive needs will change and we will customize their visits to accommodate this.
We recommend that all children be seen by their first birthday, which follows the recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. We want to start early so we can focus on prevention and building good habits from the beginning. We call our office a "dental home" because we want to create ongoing relationships with your family so that we can guide your child through their growth and development.
If anyone has been sick in the immediate family please let us know before the scheduled visit by calling the office or emailing. 425-481-7827 or office@northstarmillcreek.com. Reminder that we ask for only one parent/guardian and the child who is scheduled to come to the appointment. When you arrive, please text 425-481-7827 from the parking lot and write the patients name.
Our number one priority is to provide your child with the best treatment available. Our treatment recommendations are based on Guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Sara and her staff members will discuss the best treatment options with you. Our treatment coordinator will discuss the financial aspects of your child's treatment and review your dental benefits if needed.

I am the mother of two kids on the spectrum. I live in marysville now but drive all the way to Bothell to see Dr. Sarah because she’s the best! My kids are always excited when we are going to North Star Dentistry. Dr.Sarah is amazing and always caring and sweet. Everyone here is super nice and knows how to treat little kids and my kids never left sad. As a mum,this is the place where i take my kids and sit back knowing they are in a good hands. Dr. Sara is a mom of young children herself- she just gets it. She is calm, caring, highly competent in her craft and gentle artistry of working with pediatrics. She is one of those providers that once you find, you hang on to until your kid ages out of her practice and she has to tell you kindly that your college aged child would probably feel… more comfortable seeing an adult oriented dentist 🤣 I live a good 40 mins from the practice but the few times we have to go to the office for cleanings etc, it is always worth it. I have heard such horror stories from friends that their children

Dr. Sara took amazing care of my 3 week old twins. They needed lip and tongue tie revisions and she helped me to thoroughly understand their condition and the goals of revision. I had nothing but confidence in her ability to help all of us through this procedure and they are feeding so much better now.

I can’t begin to tell How how much this means to me, All my life I have been wanting to have this Done and at 65 Annmarie Cunningham ♥️ you made it “finally” Happen. 💥 Their primary Clients our Kids but Dr. Sara agreed to do the Tongue Tied Release Surgery on me because Annmarie is my cousin. I have tears of Joy and ANY one that has a child that needs this done I highly highly recommend

Both my girls have been going to see Dr Sara since 1 years old! They love it and get excited when I tell them we are going. They never make you wait and understand busy parents having to take off work to get their kids in and out! The staff are super friendly and they have different areas for kids to play during their visit. I recommend them to all my friends and family! In fact, they ARE like family!

We took our daughter here for her one-year appointment. WOW! I was so pleased to see how committed this office is in ensuring the comfort of the littlest ones!! They have an open-concept exam area that are free of walls and includes a little play area for kiddos to relax in when parents are talking to technicians. I appreciated the time that the technicians and doctor took to explain to use different things we didn't know and to answer any questions we had. Definitely recommend this dentistry to all!

Dr. Sara went above and beyond to care for my newborn's tongue tie. She made me feel comfortable with the laser procedure, educated us on home care, and even called after to check on the baby! In addition, her staff was friendly, caring and very organized with insurance matters. Dr. Sara treats her patients as if they were her own children. I would highly recommend to anyone. Worth the drive, even if you are not in the area.
