I immigrated to America at 13 years old along with my two sisters. We left our rural village in Fujian, China to reunite with our parents who immigrated a few years prior with no money, but plenty of hope for a better life. My parents worked tirelessly at their restaurant, as did my sisters and I despite our young age.

We entered the market as first time home buyers in the midst of the pandemic, a very strong seller's market. We had South Pasadena or San Marino in mind with a price range we were comfortable with. We interviewed a few real estate agents before deciding on who would list our home in Pasadena for sale. By the time Eva arrived, we already had someone in mind. She changed that. It seems that we picked quite a challenging time AND place to buy a house for our growing family. It's no secret that EVERYBODY is trying to buy a house right now. We knew that going in. In this market especially, I feel incredibly lucky to have found Eva & Angel to help me through the home buying process. They were attentive and not too pushy even when they knew they were right. Eva and her team (shout out to Angel) made my first home-buying experience very smooth overall. I especially appreciated the quick responses to my questions (even during weekends), helping to put me at ease throughout the process. They also dealt with multiple parties (escrow, mortgage broker, seller agent) with little input required on my part.
