Dr. Hermansen began his higher education by gaining a Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences at California Lutheran College (now University). He then continued towards his doctorate by graduating from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in 1973. California Dental Association - Certificate of Appreciation for volunteering on the CDA Council on Peer Review (2010 - 2016).

My family has has been seeing Dr. Hermansen for 25+ years. The location is easily accessible on Woodside Road, the building and the dental office is clean and pleasant and there is plenty of parking. The hygienists are nice and gentle and Dr. Hermansen is personable and kind. They get to know their regular clients well. Kids are welcome and they also offer tooth whitening services.

Professional and friendly staff that goes the extra mile. Dr. Hermansen has been doing this a long time, and it shows in his technique and knowledge. I appreciated the extra time and attention that Michelle' took to get my crown to be the exact right color. Vanessa kept me comfortable during the long procedure, which made it feel shorter.

Pleasant office staff and professional treatment utilizing the best methods. Dentistry is a perfect blend of science and craft and they know the science, and have the patience for the craft. No one likes getting dental work, but they're caring and gentle for when you need "real" work done or just a cleaning.
