PMD Group began more than 20 years ago in 1997 as The Marketing Department. It was founded by Debbie Fletcher and Marta Lane, two coworkers and friends with credit union experience in marketing and graphic design. The founders saw a need for an agency that could help smaller to medium size businesses with their marketing initiatives.
Laura graduated from Texas A&M University and began her career working in financial institutions. She held positions in a variety of areas including teller, customer service and administrative assistant. Just before joining PMD Group, she worked as a loan officer at a Houston credit union. In 2007, she joined the PMD team as a marketing representative, eventually moved into the financial director role and then became president in 2017.
