Our children patients are very important to us. We believe a lifetime of good dental health begins in childhood. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit a pediatric dentist by their first birthday. This way any developing problems may be detected, treated early, or avoided all together.
Also, at this age a pediatric dentist can help you with suggestions about infant oral health care, how to decrease teething discomfort, prevention of dental decay, and a gamut of other child related topics. An early start including regular dental check-ups can help them maintain a healthy smile for a lifetime.

Services
Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.
For more information concerning pediatric dentistry, please visit the website for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.

I was incredibly disappointed with our visit. We were referred here by our orthodontist for my 10 year old to have two teeth extracted to ready her for braces. She was incredibly anxious, as any kiddo would be. The bedside manner of the assistant prepping her for the procedure was sub-par to say the least.
The procedure was surprisingly quick, but they didn't allow her adequate recovery time, and she was crying & too woozy to walk in a straight line when they brought her out to meet me in the waiting room. They then took us back into the office for post-procedure instructions, which were incredibly

The staff was super friendly and professional. They made my 2 kids feel comfortable and at ease. They informed me of everything they was doing during the exam and X-rays and cleaning. The dentist (Andre) was awesome. He was very helpful and wasn’t bothered by my 10 year old and 6 year old asking a ton of questions. The office is extremely clean and well sanitized. Overall we had a wonderful experience and I am so glad we chose Peachtree Children’s Dentistry!
