Tom, thanks for the great job you and your staff did this afternoon (12/14/13), for our family's luncheon. The food and the service was extraordinary! Everyone was very happy with the delicious food. This wonderful restaurant was wiped out by Super Storm Sandy and has just reopened. The decor is updated but the standards for excellent service and food remains.

Great family owned restaurant that's been on the waterfront for decades. The owners comes around to greet everyone. The food is superb. Even the chocolate ice cream is special dark chocolate. The coffee is also excellent. My veal was OMG quality. The house salad is nicely presented with a great balsamic dressing. My wife's chicken soup was especially flavorful without being salty. Nice ambiance. Highly recommended.

This place is far beyond terrible. I was here for a party, the food was literally so bitter, then I found a red hair strand in my plate... the waiters didn't seem to care when I mentioned how my food was bitter, until I physically went up and showed him how he needed to change my dinner with the strand I found; nobody had red hair at my table btw. The owner seemed to be a complete airhead, he was pretty unorganized overall. This place is honestly so disgusting I'd never eat here myself. There is many better Italian places even nearby. Eat here at your own risk.

My fiancée (now wife) and I had our rehearsal dinner here on the night of Friday, October 29th, 2021. We had a total of 36 people (34 adults and 2 children) and were in the private room on the second floor. The private room has its own bathroom and bar and with the amount of people we had the room was perfect as people were able to easily get up and move around.

Villa D'Aqua excellent 95th Birthday Dinner for our mom. 13 people... everything was spot on!! Our server Adriano and his team were flawless. He created hot and cold appetizer platters for the table, accommodated dietary restrictions, everyone's food came out at the same time! He was lots of fun.. great sense of humor and no one hoovered over us or rushed us!!!

My wife ate lunch there last week with her cousin and have a wonderful lunch. Yesterday (Tues), she took me there at 1 pm for lunch. She couldn't find the hostess right away. When the hostess appeared she was very unfriendly and rude. She asked us it we had a reservation. Meanwhile there were 15+ empty tables inside the restaurant and probably 8+ empty tables outside.
We said no and told her we wanted to eat lunch outside. She walked away and went outside pretending to look for a table but genuinely seemed annoyed. I didn't like the way we were been treated and started complaining to my wife,

I love starting my summer off with an authentic Italian meal here on the deck facing the canal. They offer fresh quality Italian food with live music that just puts a smile on your face. The baked clams are delicious, you can't help but use the fresh bread to clean the sauce off the plate. From the pasta dishes, fish, salads, desert... it's all wonderful. I've never been disappointed.. only when I can't get a table. Also, The owners are well respected and kind. A great local spot!

The waiter was wonderful. I asked him for his recommendation & he was spot on with everything.
He does everything so be patient they are a little slow but it's enjoyable being outdoors.
We order the appetizer special which was octopus & calamari. This was disappointing. It was basically calamari appetizer with very little octopus. I would of preferred more octopus which was perfectly grilled & tender

Except for an aggressive encounter with a disgruntled valet guy, we enjoyed the experience. Host and servers were attentive. One small complaint is our waiter would not take an appetizer order before we new what our entrees would be. Food was good. I had sea scallops which were served with veggies and a white wine sauce. Wifey had shrimp scampi. We sat outside on their dock.

2 stars based on the linens, table setting, and service (they were pleasant and tried!). Food 1 star, (shaved slices of veal in veal saltimboca, and basically tasteless). But 0 stars for ambiance. On a Wednesday evening they had an awful singer with a mic, (it’s a small room, no amplifier needed), and some kind of loud, singing , private birthday party going on in the main dining room, which is where we were seated. Our party of 6 couldn’t hear ourselves talk, no conversation possible due to the noise just a few feet away from us. The private party & singer should have been upstairs Terrible

Went there tonight and we're sitting outside. Large outside area. The Service was very good. Drinks were great (the bar gave a generous size for an old fashioned) and I enjoyed Pork osso bucco for my dinner. The clams for my app I wouldn't get again (portion was small) i would recommend the mussels instead (bigger portion) overall a great place for a family gathering.

Exactly like what the reviews say...service is horrible. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time, went up to the hostess, and told her we arrived. We were waiting for about 10-15 minutes until a couple showed up after us and got seated before us. A different person came to seat us, an elderly guy and brought us to the outside dining area. He told us to wait in the front of the dining area while he cleared the table for us. He cleared it and just walked away, without even passing by us directly and telling us we could sit down. If I could leave a zero star rating I would. I went there along 7 other people for a birthday party. Two of their waiters got into a fight amongst themselves and fell on a 9 month old child. Thankfully the child was ok but when the manager came, he blamed us. He said we were the ones causing a scene. He told us that "we didn't belong there" and went on a racist rant. Note that, we were the only colored people at the restaurant that night. The fact that his waiters got into a fight, fell on a child, created a ruckus and still we didn't even get an apology. Villa D'Aqua in Bellmore is an Italian restaurant with fresh seafood specials that I would confidently state are their signature dishes. They have a waterfront atmosphere along with cozy indoor dining room & bar. From what I read; they tend to favor Northern Italy menu selections.
Our visit to this restaurant was chosen for the purpose of outdoor dining reservations and specifically their location. We had not seen our close friends for a few months and wanted to find a restaurant that was patient with their customers dining visits which worked out perfect.

AMAZING! I brought myself my friend and six 14 year old girls for my daughters 14th birthday. No reservation and they brought out a table to accommodate us. The owner was so sweet and I regret not getting his name. We all felt as though we were transported back to Italy. The service was amazing! Roberto our waiter and the rest of the staff was so attentive, kind and personable. The food, the food all 8 of us finished all of our plates, nothing left to bring home, then they finished it with a delicious Happy Birthday Tiramisu! The staff was friendly and welcoming. They did not rush us to order.
Our group of 10 ordered the lunch specials. Soup/salad, main course, dessert, tea/coffee.
When our food came, it was hot and delicious! I’m as slow eater, and surprised by how quickly I gobbled down the food!

With the spring and summer approaching, there are a few better choices for indoor or outdoor dining. The owner and waitstaff are attentive and make you feel appreciated from the moment you get there. The choices are numerous and after eating here more than 25 times, I can truly say that I have not had a bad meal. There is an expanded outdoor dining area on the water and an upstairs event room where we had our daughters wedding rehearsal dinner. The desserts are delicious. Most weekend nights there is live music. Always a great dining experience.

Recent evening visit, sat us outside on the deck. Bar area was being policed politely for over crowding, which I appreciated.
The interior was well spaced out as was the exterior. Food and service was a good as ever, enjoyed a grilled octopus/calamari app, which was cooked perfectly. Had pork chop with vinegar peppers (my favorite entree there), and again, just as I remembered.

We usually always start with the fried calamari and a bottle of wine. The wine list is very nice and the calamari is always cooked perfect and is served in a napkin so it's never soggy.
For dinner I have a few favorites including the veal parm and the chicken sorrentino.
For Dessert they have multiple delicious options however the cheesecake and chocolate cake are the best in my opinion.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. They had I think two parties going on - looked like a baby shower inside and a bridal shower outside. However, they did have a few tables outside on the water to sit at.
