Jamie Johnson established Car Parts Direct in 2004 as an auto parts brokering business out of his home in Winona, Minnesota. A year later, he moved back to his hometown of Fairmont, where he continued the business. In the beginning, most of his customers were out of state, from the West Coast and East Coast.
At Car Parts Direct, we provide full-service auto repair and vehicle maintenance with the option of using high-quality salvaged auto parts to save you money. We have access to used parts for most import and domestic vehicles, and our mechanics know how to locate, inspect, and install used parts that still have lots of life left.

Car Parts Direct provides an automatic 30 day warranty on all parts sold. It is the intent of Car Parts Direct to sell each customer parts of good quality and serviceability. This warranty is a parts only warranty, which covers defective parts and items sent incorrectly. Car Parts Direct does not cover any labor charges on defective parts installed or removed.
Unless your vehicle requires premium gasoline, filling up your vehicle with high-octane gas is a waste of money. The premium gas doesn't boost your gas mileage or performance. If you're not sure what grade works best for your vehicle, your owner's manual will tell you. You can also ask your mechanic what grade to use.

Was traveling through Minnesota on I-90 and heading for a blizzard. My drivers side wiper was going completely off the windshield. I stopped at O’Reilly Auto Parts and bought a wiper blade but couldn’t get the wiper arm off to adjust it. The general manager at O’Reilly’s auto parts suggested that I stop in here. These guys are great-they listened to my problem and fixed it immediately and then wouldn’t take payment. Textbook midwestern hospitality. Highly recommend.

THIS PLACE IS NOT RECOMMEND AND THEY ARE INFACT A SCAM. I got a k-frame from car-part direct and I made it Very clear that I read the reviews after I had already paid for the part. Unfortunately the part was damaged so I contacted them to see about getting half of the cost back because now I have to have someone cut and reweld the brackets. That say sorry and offer a 20% refund, that is a joke. So off and on with them for a out a month now and still no solution . I paid shipping and asked for that back and they say that they paid the shipping. I take screenshots of everything I buy online just

DO NOT order from this company, they are a scam outfit. I was sent the wrong part which I received over 3 weeks after I placed the order (was supposed to be 3-5 days). The FedEx shipping order and tracking # was bogus. It showed the part coming into California, then sent to Arizona where it sat for 2 weeks. I complained and they "re-sent" the part. Complained again when it was the wrong part, was given a shipping label and promised a refund. I have received nothing after almost 2 months, even after multiple emails to the company requesting a refund. Had to resort to the credit
