Today was the first time we’ve tried the Glenwood on Willamette Street. We walked in and were greeted and I had told the gal that this was our first time coming to the restaurant. We were seated and our server came to our table and was kind and said that she had been told that this was our first time. The gal took our order, the soup was brought out and it was the wrong soup, we had to ask another server to help us get the correct soup. The soup was brought out and it was cold/luke warm. We had to ask for the soup to be warmed up. We waited over 15 minute and the soup was never brought back.

Went on a Thursday morning. Ordered coffee and got warm coffee. Our food was cold and they may have gone a bit overboard with cooking with oil. Couldn't choke down the food and Our server was busy chatting with other regulars to care about us.. another server only checked up on us when it was time to pay. Very disappointed it really takes a lot to foe me to write a bad review. This says something about their service and quality of food. Must be a regular to get good service.

Such a shame to leave this review. Always had a soft spot for this place, the food is reliably delicious.
However, today we made an online order and our food was 40 mins late being ready, on top of a 40 min expected wait time (according to the website). When we arrived to pick it up at the scheduled time there was no communication from staff about how long we still had to wait.
The restaurant was not busy, wait staff were not rushing and there were empty tables. Dine in customers were told to expect a 40 minute wait after being seated.
I appreciate that staffing is a problem for retail and hospitality

It's just as cute inside as it is outside!!
This was our first breakfast stop on our 5 day trip to Eugene and we fell in love with it, food was cooked to perfection, the London fog latte was my favorite and we visited other breakfast spots over the few days and nothing compared taste/price/service wise.
The girls that served us were nothing but sweet and polite, we absolutely can't wait to come back on our next visit.
100% would recommend

Delicious, awesome setting in this old house close to U of Oregon Campus.
We ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of the best breakfast potatoes I have ever had, they are made with little red potatoes cooked on a grill and they are so good. The biscuits and gravy were so hot and delicious it is a large order and I couldn't finish it but the flavor was old fashioned and delicious.
Evan had a bacon cheese omelet and he loved it, it was large as well and he couldn't finish it either. He got a side of toast and the preserves were so good, tasted like they had just made it.

One of my least favorite things I've spent money on. I got the Colorado Burrito, which is a breakfast burrito. The quality was just awful. It tasted like something out of the frozen food aisle, or something put together at home with sad scraps in the fridge and then microwaved. The sauce was overwhelming, the chicken chewy and overcooked, and the overall taste was just gross. I got a stomach ache right away.

Reliable high quality comforting food in a casual homey environment. I like their expansive breakfast menu of scrambles and omelets with fun ingredients like pesto, shrimp, and avocado, and their lunch sandwiches and dinner entrees of American favorites are carefully prepared and amply proportioned. Service is sometimes slow, but they care about getting your order right and are friendly.

It was nasty. The so called Hash Browns, were sliced round, fried mushy and half done in places, burnt in others, and all scrambled looking. They tasted oddly of fish. Like they had been cooked behind some. The Ham,was a piece of Thanksgiving Style Baked Ham ,and poor in taste and quality. Not to mention an inappropriate cut for breakfast. The biscuit was ok, the jelly was good. Service was slow . No refill on coffee, till I was ready to pay. I won't be back. Found myself wishing I'd snagged a Biscuit at the McDonald's up the road.

Don't feel like cooking but don't feel like a drive-thru, then The Glenwood family dinners are the best. They post the weekly menu on their website, dinners include a main entree, and 2 sides (salads, fruit, etc) you just have to order by the cutoff time.
The best part is that there are usually 2 options per night and one is usually vegetarian (not the standard Mac and cheese) all for $18 which feeds 2 adults and two kids. Give it a try!!!

Advertises and charges for "Fresh squeezed orange" and serves pasteurized OJ.
"Fresh fruit bowl" serves some fresh fruit and half flavorless preserved berry toppings.
Pretty disappointed. The Durango omelet was ok, the bacon cheese omelet was pretty good and the French toast was pretty good.
Everyone seemed depressed and the food was depressing as well.
We won't be coming back.

Glenwood is hands down the best place for breakfast you will ever go. If you are in Eugene, do yourself a favor and stop in. The waitresses are attentive and quick to help with whatever you are needing. The price for the quality of their food is outstanding. You could order anything on this menu, literally everything satisfies. My favorite thing about Glenwood should definitely be the food, but I am most in love with the setting. I feel comfortable and at home when I am at Glenwood. I am from Portland and I visit Glenwood every time I am going down to the South Coast for business. Thank you to

We just moved from Houston, TX & have been trying new restaurants since we got here.
Glenwood food was amazing!!!! I believe i got the banana walnut waffle, & my husband got one of the breakfast sandwiches. Everything was like a party in your mouth, coffee was great as well.
However, service needs improvement. Not sure if they were understaffed or the lady was new, but the server was not very attentive to our table.

The Glenwood on Willamette has been around for years & years. The one thing you can ALWAYS rely on, is the best quality ingredients & the greatest quality of service. Today my Son had the Montana omelette with free side of bacon & a free gluten free roll. My Daughter in Law had the Monterey Omelette, with a side of Kale & fresh pineapple. The Kale was steamed to perfection, she only needed to add salt & pepper to her liking. She said her Omelette was the best Omelette she's ever had. I helped her with her huge chunk of Pineapple & it was super fresh, tasted like we were on an island & had just

I come here upon every visit to Eugene (which means I have been here precisely three times)! Dining out back on the patio (if our fickle PNW weather allows) will net you the most atmospheric experience. Bands of warm sunlight streaming in through the thick foliage, with a light breeze and a cool beverage (in the summer, of course) has imprinted Glenwood in my memory, along with their delicious food.
Having patronized this establishment for both breakfast and dinner, I can declare, with confidence, the big winners on the menu: the Greek Omelette and the Dona Ana Chicken Sandwich, while my wife

The only reason I give this 4 stars is because we waited awhile for our food or for our waiter to come back like every time. He was very nice though.
Apparently Marcus Mariotta comes here often when he's in town if that means anything to you...:) a waitress told us!
We sat outside and it was really nice and was fairly shaded in most areas. I went inside to use the bathroom and it looked nice too in there, they have a downstairs and upstairs.
I got the hazelnut french toast and WOW. It was extremely good! I got the hash browns (it has a different name to it though- home fries) and they were

It's an absolutely classic Eugene restaurant. Although the exact opening year escapes me, I can assure you that it has been here as since as far back as my childhood (native Eugenian - 34 years old). There are two Glenwood locations: on campus and Willamette St. They're known for great breakfasts and better hangover food. They're probably best known for their tomato and cheese soup (seriously, give it a shot).
Prices range from average to low'ish (at least for the quality of the food). The staff is always upbeat and I've never had bad service. Keep in mind, I ate at the campus location MANY times
