Back & Bodyworks was originally founded in 1999. The mission began with the premise of wanting to help people proactively enjoy their health. Back & Bodyworks has maintained this desire and have helped thousands of clients over the years. In 2007 the company moved to a new location that is just a few blocks north of the original location, to 7618 N. Oak Trafficway in Gladstone, Missouri 64118.

Deep tissue massages target the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also known as the connective tissue. Deep tissue massages involve many of the movements and techniques of a Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage as our therapists work to release chronic muscle tension or knots.

My wife and I had a couples massage here today and very much enjoyed it. My wife had Cassandra and I had Jennifer. Both were very experienced, and gave us wonderful hour-long massages. The salon is very nice, comfortable, safe and clean (all of us were vaccinated). We will most definitely be going back!

Booked an appointment online and recieved a confirmation email. I arrived and called to check in and could not get anyone to answer the phone, even though I could see someone sitting at the front desk.
A woman finally called me back, after I had called about six times. She immediately had an attitude with me and was extremely unpleasant. She said that she couldn't find my appointment and already had someone booked at that time. There wasn't anything they could do. She asked if I wanted to rebook on another day and I said I would find somewhere else because I was already dealing with extreme pain

I am so glad I received a gift certificate 2 Back & Body Works. Amy was amazing! I left feeling a million times better and have booked another appointment in 4 weeks. I can't wait to go back. If I could give 10 Stars I would. Very personable welcoming staff very accommodating and very affordable for massage. They listen to exactly what you are wanting and needing. There is no trying to sell you what you don't need and it's fantastic.
