Arken Studios is our family business and our pride and joy. It's run by ourselves, Ron & Nancy Crain, and in a special way, our dogs too. We currently reside with our Golden Retriever Maya, our rescue pup Dakota and our son's giant Anatolian Shepherd mix River. Located in Sebastopol, Ca. Arken Studios by design is Fun with a capital F. We create unique experiences for our clients so they can have a fun experience too.

Writing about oneself is a bit intimidating. What is it about me that someone would want to know about me? I'm a husband a father, and a human being just like you. I've worked hard all my life, starting in High School with multiple jobs. I've worked for a Roller Coaster company and High Tech companies just as the personal computers came into their infancy.
We love photographing your fur babies! We'll capture your pet's personality - from tail wags to eye twinkles - in our safe, fun and creative environment. Combine both In-Studio & Outdoor Sessions for the Ultimate Pawtrait Experience! (Additional time required.) Ideal for our "on the go" clients who love fine quality images, but don't have time in their busy schedule for our full session.
Our pets mean the world to us. The fact remains that they are with us for far too short a time, yet they touch our hearts in such a profound way. As photographers we know the power of images. Through tears and the personal loss of our own precious pups, we have created our FOREVER Sessions. Specifically for terminally ill and geriatric pets only, these sessions celebrate the joy and happiness that our beloved pets have brought to our lives.
