We highly recommend Mark. He is very professional and knowledgeable in the field of law. He was always prompt in answering emails, calls and questions and kept us well informed of court proceedings. He clearly explained our choices pertaining to our case and fought hard to obtain the best outcome for our family member. He is calm and straight forward and always put us at ease knowing he was doing everything he could for us. We have obtained Mark’s services twice and highly recommend him for your legal needs.

I’m going to keep this short and sweet - I’ve dealt with dozens of lawyers in my life - dozens - and by far Mr. Chmelewski is head and shoulders above the rest - point blank - if you have any questions please inquire - but in the meantime if you need any legal assistance - this is the person you need to deal with. 6 stars if I could.

Search elsewhere!! There are so many better lawyers in Ellensburg. I lost $2750 because I entrusted Mark Chmelewski with my case. I had never been convicted of any crime before and I had told him that I would appreciate as much information and communication as possible. He met with me one time before I had even hired him as a lawyer and never met with me again. He never asked for details of my case or what my side of the story was and as the court date approached and there was no communication I started to panic. After I had sent him $2750 he told me that I was welcome to find a new lawyer if I

Fact: My speeding ticket case was lost, and I'm still having to pay a fine. Never sent me any paperwork to sign, just said to send him a check for his fee's and copy of ticket. (I have never had a lawyer do this, should have been my first clue.) In my opinion this is the most unprofessional lawyer I've ever dealt with. I was upset with the verdict and called him today, not expecting to get anyone but to leave a voicemail for a call back, he answered. Yes I was upset, yes I could have probably handled it better, but he was also aggressive and did nothing to deescalate it. I told him fine enjoy your

If you want a ticket dismissed in Ellensburg, this is the lawyer you want to use.
I was trying to pull up Google maps on my cell phone while sitting at a stoplight when I got pulled over by an over zealous and bored cornfed cop who gave me a $500 ticket. His justification for it was "texting and driving" (apparently you can't use your cell at stoplights either), supposedly speeding (uh-huh...I'd been in the car less than 5 minutes), and distracted driving (riiiight). I would have just swallowed my pride and paid the ticket, but I couldn't have it on my insurance.
