When not actively engaged in his work, Dr. Rice enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 boys and his daughter. Dr. Rice is committed to providing his guests the highest quality cosmetic dentistry available. Dr. Amethyst grew up in Turlock and attended Central Catholic High School. She went on to graduate from CSU Stanislaus with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2000.
Our staff gladly processes insurance claims as a convenience to you. Please bring the necessary forms with you on your first visit. Insurance policies generally cover only a portion of the total treatment cost. Unless other arrangements have been made, we ask that you pay your portion of the bill at the time of treatment.
A dental cleaning is a professional cleaning you receive from a dentist or dental hygienist. Most dental cleanings take only between 25 and 30 minutes. Cleanings should be performed every six months to prevent excessive plaque buildup. Plaque left untreated can lead to unhealthy gums and tooth decay.

It was my first dentist appointment in maybe 10yrs. Everyone was extremely nice and out going, Amy and Stephanie took really good care of me. For that amount of time, it was painless. Stephanie was careful and paid attention to my comfort level. Dr. Rice was quick efficient professional and delicate. Overall I'm feeling great about my new dentist office.

It was my first visit here at the office and I can say the ladies in the front were very approaching, very sweet calling me by my name, greeted me saying hi and thanking me for coming to their office and so on. Let’s just say you don’t get that at a lot of dentist , you end up getting the rude ladies thinking they are to good to greet you. The lady that called me in the back was so sweet and caring, very open to all the questions I had and being very friendly and went step by step what she was doing so I understood what and why she was doing it. Our first visit to Turlock Family Dentistry. My daughter had visits to other dentist offices and this was the first time she actually complemented on going. She really felt comfortable.
