The story of Shweiki's publication printing history goes back to 1984. At the time, while a student at the University of Texas at Austin, Gal Shweiki had an idea to create a guide book for students that listed all the best places to hang out. This idea led to The Student Guide to Austin. This was Shweiki's entry into the publishing field.

I was sent here to check on the printing quality and color accuracy of our magazine and the people there were extremely polite and accommodating. They bought us food and were very thorough in their explanations. There was still a mismatch in color but that was due to two reasons: 1) we had to leave 2) the change of shift brought in a new guy to work on our book and he was annoyed by my assistant and I from the beginning, contradicting everything the first guy was doing for us. Other than that one guy I still loved our experience with them.

I received quotes from 8 printers, local and out of state. Shweiki was the best price.
The quality was excellent, service was first rate. Whenever I had a question all I did
was email or phone and they were on the spot with the answers. Our 384 page full color glossy product catalog was done in a timely manner and looks extremely professional. I have many product catalogs in my office and the bindings after several months come apart and the pages separate. This catalog seems to have a much stronger page binding for many years of page turning. In all truth, it looks even better and stronger than

I did a careful search of all the available online printers as well as many local printers in Los Angeles. I chose Shweiki, first, because of their very competitive pricing. Now they are my go to printers not only because of their pricing, but they deliver the quality as well. Perhaps the best feature, though, is their people. Of all the printers I've used over the past 28 years of publishing direct mail shopping guides, Shweiki has always, without question, produced the the finest looking magazines I've ever published. I've been in publishing for nearly 15 years. My experience with Shweiki has been among the best...from the start. When we asked for our initial quote, Kendall (our account executive) promptly came back with pricing. Surprisingly, she also presented us with a second size option that could potentially save us thousands of dollars on each issue. We went with them largely based on this initial experience. I've never worked with a printer that looked at our specs and came back to us with suggestions for making our printing more efficient.

Shweiki has printed calendars as fundraisers for the Central Texas SPCA for a few years and we've been more than satisfied with all aspects of the service each time. Everyone on the staff we've dealt with has been responsive and helpful. The calendars have always been attractive and delivered when we needed them. As we're volunteer-based, we've had challenges getting everyone on the same page on our side and they've been patient and helpful. We HIGHLY recommend Shweiki and will certainly use them again.

I absolutely love this company! I am constantly getting compliments about how great my magazines look and the quality of the printing. They do everything they can to make me look good and I truly appreciate it and I appreciate them. They believe in customer satisfaction.
