I have been to this spa several times and had an excellent massage. This time I was not so fortunate. Over the past 20 years, I had many massages and have never been treated so disrespectfully nor felt so violated. Peter was my masseuse. At first, I thought he was inexperienced. He had poor draping technique, which left me partially uncovered and cold for the second half of the massage. His style was clumsy, rough, and unsymmetrical. Update: The new manager reached out to me and asked if I'd give them another try. Last night I went in for a 1 hour reflexology/acupressure massage. It was SO MUCH BETTER! The staff is very friendly. The spa in general is super clean and comfortable.

Their location is great. I can book after work or on a weekend, there is parking near and once I've parked I'm close to not just Marin Family Spa but to the nail salon I like, restaurants and shopping.

I'll be visiting again soon.

This was hands down the best massage I have ever experience. They were so thorough, with unique styles of massage. It was very clean, modern, and relaxing. Staff and massage therapists were experienced and kind. They offer you water when you leave. BEST full body 90 min massage for $90! Go!

I had the very best foot reflexology spa treatment today with Mike. He was so attentive, tuned in and has the best hands in the business, strong, firm and healing. Run to see Mike. You will not regret it. The spa is immaculate, warm, friendly welcome, an oasis during these stressful times.

First of all I am a massage therapist for 20 years, so I can tell you honestly my therapist had no idea what she was doing. She kept constantly putting MASSIVE amounts of pressure on my spine with her forearm, (this is NOT ok to ever do, it's one of the first things in massage school you learn not to do!!) and not enough pressure on the spinae muscle just to the side of it. My whole spine feels like I've been beat up.
The amount of oil they use (endless amounts) actually prevents any useful deep tissue to happen. You cannot do deep tissue without slow drag, too much oil there's

This isn't a foo-foo, "let's do a 10 minute evaluation of where you're stiff", fill out a dozen health forms, sorta place. It's super straight forward, very clean, very efficient, zero small talk. These ladies KNOW what they are doing. I got an hour massage (and they honor the FULL 60 minutes) and was so light headed when I left that I couldn't walk straight. Nice massages for reasonable price. Clean Facility. Friendly staff. Currently, they are taking cash only or Venmo. No credit cards. Just a heads up! Thankfully, there is a Chase Bank within walking distance.

Amongst all the massage spas I've been to, Marin Family Spa is my favorite. I've tried the 60min body massage and 90min foot/body massage which I liked the best. My body aches and stress were immediately relieved after the massage. The environment is clean and relaxing. Massage therapists are professional and friendly. The front desk receptionist is very nice and welcoming. Great place to ease chronic pain, to release muscle stress, or just to treat yourself~

I forgot her name. I like the deep technique massage satisfied with the pressure, it is exactly what i needed why i needed a massage is to get rid all the knots in my shoulder. Place is clean & relaxing. The only thing i don't like. The lady is too touchy almost touch my butt which i'm not comfortable with. Maybe don't touch down there?

I made this appointment with the hope of getting some relief from a injury I made to the muscles around my shoulder blade. I have had 3 different massages at 3 different spas. Two local and one in LA, and left all of them without relief. Well, the times the are a'changin'. I had a female therapist I told her my issue, and she listened, explaining that she would concentrate on my shoulder/back area. I told her medium to hard pressure, and once again, she listened. That was last Friday, and while I was sore from the actual massage, the pain is gone!!, I had almost given up on a massage

I had an hour massage by a very friendly lady today and it was fantastic! I came in super tense and left feeling like jello. She is on the gentler side, which concerned me at first, but I swear she has healing hands! She worked magic on my back and shoulders. Very clean place

Very clean place with a nice decor. However, the massage was not great. I felt like getting an oil rubbing session. Can't relax when therapists were talking loud in the hallway. Probably won't come back.

Don't bother if you're looking for a real massage. I tweaked my back and was looking for a therapist who knew how to target certain areas. This is not the place.
The technique felt unprofessional and wrong. I could tell my therapist was not certified. I should not have paid a dime as I left more uncomfortable than when I entered. This place is Terrible.

This studio is like a second home to me. I have a set appointment each week on Saturday and these massage therapy sessions keep my avatar, (the flesh & bone part of me), running great!

The staff is courteous and friendly. The space is fresh, clean and inviting.

The quality of the joint and tissue work is fantastic. I am a swimmer and work out and am 51 years old. I have come to depend on my weekly massage to keep me going through injury (3 broken ribs and hand), general workout soreness, and the aging process.

I've had mixed reviews with this place. The first time I had a very nice massage by a woman and enjoyed the hot stone treatment at the end.

On my second visit, I looked forward to getting a two hour massage. On my reservation, I requested a woman, but got a man. I let it go. He asked if I wanted medium or firm pressure, I said medium and some firm. He went deep enough that tears sprang from my eyes! Dizzy I love you! By far one of the best massages I have had. Better than any $300 one you would get at some fancy spa. I'm a new mom and nursing and she knew exactly how to treat me. I am 100% going back and will get dizzy!

Marin family spa is the best! They are serious about their massage. I've had several different masseuse(s) and they all must have been trained in same school because each one found and got into my aches and pains and went to work. Healing ensued. And a very reasonable price to boot.

Just finished visiting Marin Family Spa and my experience did not disappoint. The facility is very clean and new inside with a calming ambiance. I did the 1 hour full body massage and it was so relaxing. The therapist, Eric, used just the right amount of pressure and it was one of the best massages that I've had.

I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back again. A great massage and great value.

Best value for the money for this kind of therapy. My masseuse used a variety of techniques and pressures to work out my many knots and tense spots. Really nice environment, and great atmosphere and service , I really like this place!
