OMI, Inc., is an engineering business located in Huntsville, Alabama. The civil engineers at OMI have specialized in geotechnical engineering and are proud of their proven record in the areas of subsurface exploration, foundation systems, slope stability, groundwater control, roads, and waterways. Any projects that relate to earth, geology, and construction can be addressed.
OMI's environmental department offers regulatory, ecological, and regulated materials services including ADEM and USACE permitting, NPDES permitting, Spill Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) plans, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, City of Huntsville Environmental Assessments, wetlands assessment and delineation, master planning and permitting for mitigation and enhancement, endangered and threatened species surveys, UST closure, and asbestos surveys.

At OMI, Inc., we strive to provide the highest quality services for your project. Our materials testing technicians are capable of a multitude of sampling, observations, and testing.
OMI, Inc. has a full-service AASHTO-accredited lab capable of handling your testing needs. We are accredited for the following tests under the AMRL and CCRL programs. Listed below is just a sample of our Asphalt, Soil, Concrete, and Aggregate testing. All non-accredited tests by OMI, Inc. are performed by referencing their respective ASTM procedures which are kept up-to-date in our inventory.
